  1. Any Canadians out there take delivery yet?

I've seen 2 on the road, and a third I saw at a dealer that was a customer order, but the buying bailed and it's up for sale. It was still sitting on the lot the last I drove past. Mine is schedule to be built Aug 6
  2. Any word from Canadian Dealers regarding ordering?

Don't worry, when you need medical coverage, be comfortable knowing that while you wait long hours / months to be seen, and eventually will get sub-par attention, you won't get an official bill after. Totally worth paying more for everything including taxes /sarcasm
  3. 2021 Bronco Parts Department Catalog Is Up!

Probably well known, but I'll add in case. The aftermarket won't have options until they physically buy a Bronco, and start doing their own mock-ups proto-types. Only Ford approved vendors got their hands on units to design parts. So I would expect another 6 months before we see a larger...
  4. 2021 Bronco Parts Department Catalog Is Up!

Building that car put a roof over my head for a decade. I still, and always will, have a soft spot for it. 10 years later, and I still love seeing Police Interceptors in use
  5. Ford must be doing something right. Bronco Essentially Sold Out for Years

I take the opposite view. Once people actually see the thing in real life, hear how much fun and enjoyable the vehicle is, I think the numbers will go up
  6. Bronco Pickup Hinted by Sighting of Ford Testing a Jeep Gladiator?

I assumed the Gladiator was born because Chrysler / Jeep felt they need a competitor for the Ranger & Colorado (plus Honda was bringing back the Ridgeline), and they needed something that was quick and cheap to develop, instead of bringing back the Dakota. With the Super Duty line up, the 1/2...
  7. Turning Japanese

As a former Toyota employee, I can assure you they don't care if people think it's ugly. They have a loyal customer base who will buy anything with the Toyota name, no matter the style, performance, durability, colour. Running joke when I was there that Toyota could save money by only painting...
  8. “Your Bronco Has Been Built” Status Thread! 🤩

For perspective, when I worked at Ford, LWB Crown Vic's (taxis) spent longer in the weld shop due to the extra work needed to stretch the underbody. Show cars (ones going to auto shows, media events) spent extra time making sure the metal and panel fits were perfect (I assume paint did the...
  9. Reservation Date vs. Order Date - Trying to figure out why I have no Build Date!

This is my theory, but your reservation date / number means nothing to production. The reservation was a PR move to understand what the market interest was. It gave you a place in line, but was never meant to hold your place. Your order and the date it was placed has more of a factor. Once the...
  10. “Your Bronco Has Been Built” Status Thread! 🤩

Are the Shelby's full production builds, or is some of it done off line? Having a lot of experience working in an automotive weld shop, 3 days to push a body through is extremely long, especially if the plant is running 2 shifts I don't think reservation dates mean anything in the long run...
  11. 2022 Tundra

The Tacoma has had, for a while now (at least, if not way before, since 2014), a plastic bed framed with 2 steel side panels and the steel tail gate. But the main structure of the bed is a plastic mold. When I worked for them, the word was the Tundra's bed would go the same way on the next...
  12. 2022 Tundra

I use to work for the engineering department of Toyota, and did some of the work in the Texas plant for the last major model Tacoma change. I wouldn't drive a Toyota truck if it was given to me. Last I heard, this was slated to get a plastic bed, just like a Tacoma. Not a real truck, so no thanks
  13. About to order. Dealer saying delivery in a few months if I order a soft top.

Woman I use to work with's husband works directly with Tier 1 suppliers, and says he knows important people at MAP. He says orders are 100% full for MY2021 & MY 2022. For the record, I don't think reservations mean anything to Ford when it comes to build & delivery. What I reserved is...
  14. What stickers are you planning on? [NO POLITICS]

Anyone reference a good place to buy these online? As a Canadian, I doubt I'll get my Bronco to any of those places, however a few years back I did drive a rental car from San Diego to Bozeman, with stops in Zion, Grand Teton & Yellow Stone. I love the look of those, and would love to put some...
  15. Confused - Ranger platform

So for trucks, you think Ford will have F-450 (6 trim lines - 3 cab options) F-350 (6 trim lines - 3 cab options) F-250 (6 trim lines - 3 cab options) F-150 (6 trim lines - 3 cab options) F-150 Lighting F-150 Raptor Ranger (3 trim lines - 2 cab options) Ranger Raptor (????) Maverick And add...
  16. Confused - Ranger platform

Remember, Flat Rock Assembly use to build the Mustang, and the Mazda 6 at the same time. Again, 2 weld shops, common paint and assembly.
  17. Ontario Customer BUIlD DATES

A woman I use to work with, her husband deals a lot with the Tier 1 suppliers, and told me he has contacts at MAP, and would keep an eye on my order. At last check, my June 28 build week is still holding In other news, I was told a white Bronco was spotted just outside Kitchener this week. I...
  18. Order # Sequence

I searched, but didn't find anything, so apologize if this has been covered. Does your actual order number have any significance? Let's say my order number is 3000, does that mean my Bronco will be the 3000th built?
  19. Any word from Canadian Dealers regarding ordering?

Has anyone heard feedback from Ford Canada as to how they have handled this roll out? With all the Canadian content in the Bronco, one would think they would be way more on top of this.
  20. Las Vegas Raiders Bronco Badlands being auctioned at Barrett Jackson

If you are ever in the Toronto area, you'll probably see 1 of the ~100 white F-150's with a Toronto Maple Leafs logo on the side of the bed flare. Felt with how bad the Leafs are, their logo would be better off on a TuRD Tundra
