I’m down with that. I was following the other thread as well, and totally get it being a hell of a day doing the whole trail in a day. This plan looks like fun too!
I have the RC hidden mount. Like you mentioned access to the clutch sucks. it’s a major pain in the ass to power out line, other choice is to pop the hood, climb up on the core support and reach down to access the clutch, which also sucks.
I live with it, because I do like how the winch tucks...
I’m kind of waiting to see what trails the Safari are running and when. Top of the world is a must do trail for me. I’m sure the Safari will be running it, and I’ll probably go then. Be interesting to see if they do incorporate Rose Garden or not. I have not run either trail, but Rose Garden...
Well it’s officially spring, so time for the hard top to come off. Soft top will go on tonight or tomorrow. Took my first topless drive of the year, with a balmy temperature of 24F.
It’s coming up on us quick! Been thinking about pulling the hardtop off and putting the soft top back on, but have held off so far, still winter here, tons of snow, and below freezing temps. Can’t wait to get out of the frozen tundra, and back to balmy Utah weather.
What parts of ND are you in? I’m leaving northwest ND either Friday April 28th after work, or early Saturday morning the 29th. If I leave Friday, probably stay in Miles City, MT for the night.
Yes, I use these for daily driving. I mounted them myself in my garage. They are not balanced, no weights of any kinds, and no vibrations, shimmy or anything. They ride great.
Looks good, only time will tell how they stand up. One of the main reasons that I got them was my original plastic ones were getting a bit chewed up from gravel, plus I hate how plastic fades over time.
