I did a road trip a few months back. Drove conservatively to see if I could get over 400 miles on the tank. (4d).
I made it home with just under 400 mi, then ran a few errands the following day.
Right now I'm averaging 14 mpg around town.
This must've been the recent Gold Country Bronco's trip I've been following.
What an experience. Glad y'all didn't have to spend the night!!
Lot's of lessons learned on that trip.
Rear view mirror, Appropriate tires, Comms, & Lockers, seem to be top of that list.
You win!!
You have no need to apologize for a photo heavy post when your pics are so damn good!!
I enjoyed every single one of them.
What an incredible trip!!
Thanks so much for putting this post together for us.
I've been down there a couple times in the last few years to visit friends living in the San Ramon area. Beautiful country and friendly people (for the most part).
Maybe a tad too hot/humid down on the coast. (West coast only. Went to the Caribbean side years ago and won't do that again. Haha)...
Gorgeous!!!!
I drove the Columbia River Gorge then down the coast to San Francisco (South Bay) in my Subie. The views can't be beat. I've done the coast down to San Diego as well, but not on the same trip.
Since I’m using the 575 which I think draws very close to 10 A, I went with aux switch #2 which is 15A. If you’re using the 275 that’s lower amperage and you could probably go with any of the last four switches.
