Well done sir! That's a fun looking obstacle
  2. I'll just leave this here.

If that was mud from Hollister Hills, (CA), it would be considered a total loss. It sets up like adobe/concrete. Haha Looks like fun!!
  3. Send It Saturday! Post your 📸

I know it ain't a Bronco, but I haven't had that one airborne yet... So ya get the Subie
  4. Who else has almost ran out of gas â›˝?

I did a road trip a few months back. Drove conservatively to see if I could get over 400 miles on the tank. (4d). I made it home with just under 400 mi, then ran a few errands the following day. Right now I'm averaging 14 mpg around town.
  5. 20+ Broncos hit the mountain to find some snow... lessons were learned

This must've been the recent Gold Country Bronco's trip I've been following. What an experience. Glad y'all didn't have to spend the night!! Lot's of lessons learned on that trip. Rear view mirror, Appropriate tires, Comms, & Lockers, seem to be top of that list.

  9. Moved from Nevada to Costa Rica in a Base Bronco 2.3L 🗺️ 🚚

I've been down there a couple times in the last few years to visit friends living in the San Ramon area. Beautiful country and friendly people (for the most part). Maybe a tad too hot/humid down on the coast. (West coast only. Went to the Caribbean side years ago and won't do that again. Haha)...
  10. 5/2/22 Build Week Group

Yeah, I don't think that's too much wheel gap.
  11. 5/2/22 Build Week Group

  12. Epic Roadtrip: Oregon to Los Angeles along US 101 & US 1

Gorgeous!!!! I drove the Columbia River Gorge then down the coast to San Francisco (South Bay) in my Subie. The views can't be beat. I've done the coast down to San Diego as well, but not on the same trip.
  13. DIY Video Walkthrough - Super Clean GMRS Radio Install Cont'd

Since I’m using the 575 which I think draws very close to 10 A, I went with aux switch #2 which is 15A. If you’re using the 275 that’s lower amperage and you could probably go with any of the last four switches.
  14. DIY Video Walkthrough - Super Clean GMRS Radio Install Cont'd

I like having both speakers on. The larger (but slightly muffled) head unit speaker still adds some depth to the hand mics tinniness
  15. DIY Video Walkthrough - Super Clean GMRS Radio Install Cont'd

Yes. It was a tighter fit, and I did need to raise it up, just a tad with some spacers, so that I could connect the mic cord to the radio.
  16. DIY Video Walkthrough - Super Clean GMRS Radio Install Cont'd

I was kind of wishing I'd gone with a connector like that, but every time I'm out getting it dirty, I have the mic plugged in anyway.
  17. 5/2/22 Build Week Group
