I think on this forum this is the reason most people support ADM on dealer stock, it's a punishment tool. For the record I think Ford should of make the bronco's in the order (within reason) they were received.
I'm agreeing with you, I'll take my money to a dealership that did not charge ANY ADM. I just think this is a short sighted flash in the pan that is going to create heart ache for years to come. I can hold a grudge for a very long time.
I'm heard this point before, why does this not apply to ALL Ford's (including customer orders) ? I looked a new Explorer for the company and was quoted $1k under MSRP at the same dealership that had a dealer stock Bronco $15k over. It just seems like people are ok with dealer stock bronco's to...
A dealer DID tell me that, one who sold a dealer stock for msrp that and every car/truck I've bought for the last 30 years was under MSRP by some amount.
Not trying to pick a fight but why is that? Is because the people who bought wild bronco's jumped ahead of customer orders and need punished? OR ???
To me it's the same either way, the bronco was intended to be sold below MSRP, how much is anyone's guess. AT MSRP the dealer makes out like a...
I'm pretty PO'd about my local dealers and the ADM's they are trying to collect. Between the wife, work and me I purchase a new Ford about every 2 years it seems. I'm not sure I'll ever be able to buy local again, am I alone in thinking to grind this axe for years (or forever)?
Is there a kit with all the parts yet that site looked liked you had to buy them all individually. I've done a ton of the big Lego kits, my wife and I really enjoy them getting a green bronco would be fun.
(We're currently working on the Whattaburger set with burger and fries)
Yes, I'm living proof of that. The deals are there but they are rare, you have to keep digging be prepared to move fast and be willing to travel. I drove 1650 miles round trip to get a dealer stock at MSRP and I would do it again it was worth every mile.
I'm picking up my 4 door Outer Banks this week and looking at if it will fit in my enclosed car hauler vs the open top. When looking at the specifications I see Base/Big Bend, Wildtrak and Badlands. I assume it's going to fall into the category of Base/Big Bend but was wanting to see if I could...
How are you tracking your dealer stock unit to know it's completed? I have the VIN but all the trackers I've seen require an order number which I do not have.
Any idea on if this will effect units already in production or just how they schedule going forward? I was able to make a deal on a dealer stock unit that had a blend date of 3/15 and yesterday the BCE modules popped but not the PCM. Is it possible they are going to move it to dirt mountain and...
