I think that is realistic and a good perspective.
the black diamond is going to be an awesome daily driver and adventure vehicle stock.
also I’d probably have seat covers anyway with kids, but that’s just me! I do think the vinyl will be good for that though.
One argument seems to be that if you’re going to throw suspension lift + bigger wheels and tires on eventually that the Sasquatch is too good of a deal to pass up because you’d spend almost the same money, but would have other high value items included in the price, including beefier axles, gear...
Fortunately I’m garaged and in SoCal so rain is a non-issue. Mine will be covered in canvas in summer anyway (UV + Dogs + leather gets hot in the sun anyway) and then I’ll pull the leather out in the winter for nice heated seats when the hardtop goes back on.
I’m getting katzkin on my base Sasquatch but will probably be doing it through my dealer instead of diy since I want heat as well. I like saddle brown but I’m not sure it goes with the light gray interior so will likely do black. If the other panels in the car could easily be wrapped in matching...
I don’t think anyone “needs” goat modes. I think bombing down the desert at 70 mph is probably fun regardless. :ROFLMAO:
However. If certain goat modes are basically pre-selecting certain drivetrain combinations (eg Baja = rear locker + 4H + sport mode) then I can definitely see the...
Beautiful. I grew up in an fj62. When I lived in Central America I got to drive a Prado (90s) and a hilux (new) for months on end.
they were slow as a shit but perfect at the same time. The 2 doors are just 👌
I thought about importing one fromJapan but the emissions piece can be tricky for...
All I know is my buddy’s raptor rides way better on-road than my stock 150 4x4. I think the e rated tires on mine make a big difference but when the bed is unloaded it can be pretty violent in the rear. Obviously very different vehicle but I hope the upgraded suspension improves onroad driving...
If it’s like their other vehicles it will be a noticeable improvement. But the Ford performance parts suspension upgrade should get it there for less than a trim switch.
im just Expecting the top to run like$4k+ at the parts counter. at the factory it should be half of that.
Also would rather not end up with 2 hard tops. I doubt anyone would buy the mic top since it comes stock
if the heritage comes in squatch manual I may be all set though
Good perspective. No doubt we are all fortunate to be in a position to drive what will surely be the most epic vehicle of all time. Wishing you and everyone else a peaceful and stress free waiting period.
