HABO - Houston Area Bronco Owners

Finally wore down the BFGs and got my lift and 35s. I was a preorder and removed the sas option for a quicker delivery. So happy with the Bronco now. It has been off-road in Amarillo, Marble Falls and Colorado. I can't wait to get back off road and compare the difference. Did get it on the sand...
  2. Merus Adventure Park Trip Report

It will be hot but coming from the Houston area it at least cools down in the evenings. I want to see the Black trails and I think with my 4” lift and 35s we can see new areas. We hope to do Big Bend State park sometime this year as well.
  3. Merus Adventure Park Trip Report

We were there Sunday and Monday. It has been on my bucket list for awhile. It is a 10 hour drive for us but well worth the drive. I hope to go back this Summer. Just worn out my BFGs and getting a lift and 35s on the Badlands, I opted to get it quicker and did not get the Sas package. I had a...
  4. 4-Door Badlands time for 35s

I am at just under 33,000. I could likely get another 10,000, but living on the Gulf Coast of Texas, I am less confident in the rain and normally switch on 4A in these cases at this time.
  5. 4-Door Badlands time for 35s

I have considered getting the tires before I leave for Paladora Canyon in two weeks. I don’t want to install the lift and turn around and drive across Texas and then off road without road testing a newly installed lift. Just not sure how the Badlands on 35 will flex and rub on moderate plus...

Thank you. We have a room in Amarillo and I have a GRMS in the Bronco and will bring a handheld as well.
  7. 4-Door Badlands time for 35s

Now that I have worn out the stock BGFs on my Badlands, I am ready to move from 33s to 35s. I am considering a 1" or 2" puck lift and going with Baja Boss ATs. Is anyone running this setup on a 4-door Badlands? Am I wrong for not changing out shocks and Upper Control Arms? I am not interested...

Unfortunately, we have plans that weekend. We are also south of Houston, so it is a drive for us. Merus has been on my bucket list since they opened, so I am really looking forward to this trip. Any recommendations would be helpful. I wish I had more time to prepare, as I am about to move to 35s...

  15. Any decent bronco key fob covers

I have really enjoyed mine. Thinking of getting a new color as I first went with gray.
  16. How many miles?

2023 I picked it up on 2/23/23 with less than 20 miles and we are at 23,021 as of this morning. A few trips to Colorado and down South Texas way and lot of time around the city. It has been a great year and 23k miles. Can't wait to see where we go in year two.
