if Ford is not cooperating to provide you w consistent professional repairs & compensation package, there's another avenue - you can contact BBB
for example, @G-Red had a 2.3L bad turbo replaced , and he got repairs & compensation package better than most 2.7L blown engines !
he did this by...
right, the pages from Owner's Manual spec which Drive modes (i.e. 4A, 4H, 4L, or 2H) are available in each GOAT Mode - see highlighted pages in OP
the Front & Rear Lockers are mostly for situations where one of the wheels is spinning by itself, or when you're worried that may happen
- again...
well there's the rub,
- the GOAT Modes Mud/Ruts or Sand automatically default to 4H locked 4WD, and they also automatically engage the Rear Differential Locker by default - so w those GOAT Modes you're already selecting a fairly extreme locked 4WD configuration, which is only meant for really...
another dropped valve event reported @FB - engine replaced
- Scott Brooks - Annandale, MN ~ June 30
listed in B6g, maybe Mr. Brooks will share engine ser#, or last-8 of VIN
- we hope to include the engine build-date in B6g tracking
a minor Note
- I did not presume to post this thread as ' PSA '
this morning my thread Title was :
' QUIZ - How Much Damage can happen from pushing the wrong Button ? '
then about 20-minutes later the Mods changed it to the present thread Title
' PSA: Transmission drivetrain damage can ...
yes, I wondered if Ford just lazily copied that from the Part-Time 4x4 section, or if there's some other reason - if the build has Advanced 4x4 you would think ' Slippery ' would be okay since using 4A Mode
Owner's Manual over 550 pages - have people read it
True or False ?
. . driving regular streets can cause major damage if,

B) . . push the wrong 4WD button ?
C) . . dash buttons Front or Rear Lockers ?
D) . . dash button Trail Turn Assist ?

Partial Update
this one from Monday the symptoms are bit unusual
We're waiting to see what the dealer service dept finds
Ruben plans to update when more info
The Goal -
the Ford mud-flaps looked too big & expensive, but I wanted something behind the front tires to prevent rock-chips on the side panels. Decided would try to make small custom mud-flaps, to go along w two sets of IAG V1 EZ-Steps
When the Bronco was finally delivered I got to work

B6g tracking data indicate the New Valves started w Julian 266 (from Sept 23 onward, i.e. 21266 and higher ) - for a Nov 12 blend you need the engine label to see the Julian date
- the -AB engines started in Nov '21
- and -AB engines have the New Valves also, as @bytheway said
ref. - Graph of...

? do you have the mileage on this one - OP says about 3000 mi ? - do you have accurate mileage ?
you're in good company - this is fourth example of two replacements
- you could start a club w...
It's like you said Jim - ' 100 years ICE experience and nowadays Ford can't make em reliable . . . so watch out when they try to launch Hybrids ' . . . and now they recall half of em, i.e. 49,000
With other vehicles they recall tens, or hundreds of thousands but not w Bronco ?
From B6g data...
