not to rain on everyones parade. But has there been a single shred of evidence anywhere that they are offering a white top other than the clay mockup? which technically isnt white but its wrangler style matching body paint?
Here are some upscales i did with a cheap web based shitty AI program from the internet @Administrator . If any of you have Topaz AI i suggest you throw it in there as i dont have access to it. But the technology is insane now and will likely be able to pull out a ton of stuff from these images...
Not a fan at how thin the rear windows are.
Hopefully the hatch window is huge otherwise its going to be as hard to see out of as the wrangler.
I didnt want to but if visibility is that poor i might have to get a 4 door :(
I am in total agreement with you. I was referring to the fact that ford is trying to push this offroad image of the vehicle and it can "eat jeeps lunch"
Many jeep fans will laugh at this simply because a factory jeep with solid axles is immediately more capable than any IFS factory car.
Will...
ya the social media reaction will be inevitable
he has a twitter an posts often. Would not put it by him to try to get the first one off the line like arnold did with the hummer
which begs the question. What is the point of the bronco sport? They could have made that car open air like the other broncos/wranglers without the offroad stuff and sold a trillion of them at 20/25k or even less
if the bronco starts at something like 40k for the base model it better have features that really shit on the jeep otherwise ford could be in serious trouble.
I cant stand the interior of the jeep. Its too cramped and low visibility. If ford solved this , its worth the extra 10k.
However if...
ford has to be careful. Unless there is some secret tech that allows it to actually compete with the wrangler at rock crawling. The front solid axle jeep will always win. does not make sense to boast about its off road capability unless it can actually compete and win. Without solid axles it...
I think based on multiple videos of it offroading , and the baja truck that ford made that it is abandoning "Crawling" as a consumer base feature that the wrangler has.
I dont think it will have solid axles and unless it has some super secret electronic stuff it wont be able to compete with...
sound matters because we are in the transition period of electric vehicles. If these cars are built to last. In 10 years there will be electric trucks that dominate all off road vehicles in performance . The soul of trucks is in the sound.
Ford would be dumb to ignore that
raptor has a 3.5L v6 vs the golf cart 2.7L that the bronco is supposed to have.
Broncos traditionally had a v8. And there is no reason in the future that ford wont put a completely nutjob engine in the pickup raptor.
People want v8's
this is their future $$$ maker. outside of the f150
It makes no sense not to put a ballsy loud engine in it. All the videos of the bronco R baja truck sound like a go cart and that is apparently using the same 2.7 twin turbo
the 2.7 ecoboost slaps the shit out of the top of the line wrangler. So much so they shouldnt sell the other engine for the car.
The question is , is ford going to do a bigger engine for the raptor. And what engine could fit inside it. People WANT a v8 but people say the engine bay isnt big...
