Elio! I was trying to remember the name of the company that was trying to do this.
Staring any kind of car company is ridiculously difficult, and almost certainly destined to fail. I would look to by a $7k or so beater car to commune, and then have my sweet bronco.
That is my plan too. I really like the Maverick. I think it is Ford's best move in a long time.
All the small commercial companies are going to load up on these things.
What trim are you getting? I feel like the colors of the grill, top, etc can make or break a color.
Race red looks great on a wild track, but not as much on a badlands because of the gray grill (which can be painted).
I voted cactus because.it seems to go good with everything.
You stole my Bronco! ;)
Can't wait to get mine. I really like the side graphics. They are a little expensive, but I will still pay to get them from the factory.
I bought the security enclosure when Ford had a 20% off sale. That was 4 months ago. I haven't checked prices, but I doubt I lost money.
Won't buy anything else until I have the Bronco.
Love the wheels! I see a lot of people going with those Wildpeak tires. I have never heard of them before this site. My guess is they are supposed to be pretty good...?
As far as I am concern this is your vehicle and you should be able to do what you want. I was in a similar situation, but chose to walk letting the dealer have it. I placed a new order. Mine just came way too fast, and I was not financially ready.
Personally, I was just not motivated enough to...
They could easily make the MGV seats power. They already have electrical for heated seats, air bags, and occupant sensors. All you need is a module and a few motors. All of these items could be water resistant. The car is not meant to be a submarine and submerged into the cabin. So you do not...
I was in the same boat about not being fulfilled this year. Call your dealer and ask them to set your priority code to 99. This will prevent Ford from putting it into production.
I did this to my order. I didn't want to come this close to 2023 orders to be a late 2022. You never know what...
Are those both yours? They look so good. Cyber orange pops!
I really like the soft top. I would get a soft top and just buy a hard top later, but it is more cost effective to buy the soft top later.
For those that are doubting this vehicle is "right" for me, my first order was a soft top badlands with sas. I was fine with noise level, but hadn't driven a 4 hardtop with carpet.
I think it is hilarious that people really think because someone want to take road noise into consideration with...
Thanks for the input. I mostly drive surface streets. Not much freeway. I drove a four door soft badlands and two door wildtrak. Hardly a comparison. I made my piece with wind noise. I am fine with a noisier car, but I have to consider the wife's concern with noise on longer trips 😆
Does anyone have experience with cabin noise difference when comparing washout floor to carpet? Preferably with a hardtop.
I really like MGV, but not sure how much louder interior will be. As a daily driver I am not sure if it would get a little old after a while. Thanks!
