Amen. Fake beadlocks is a trend that has overrun it's course in my opinion. It's like the more busy and complicated the wheel design is, the more "trendy" it is. Whatever. I like my bellybuttons a little less mainstream I guess. That and huge diameter wheels on classic cars trucks. Enough...
Here's a couple I stole from another thread. I love these wheel/tire combos but it's a little to much negative offset for me. I think the farther the wheels stick out, the lower the vehicle looks.
I love everything about it! Apologies if you've been asked this before: what are the deets on the tires/size/lift etc? Also, what are your thoughts on switching to the MIC? I figured being in FL the soft top would be more useful... 🤔
Sorry for so many questions, the rest of us without our...
I think this is the first BD I've seen with the capable bumper, looks great! I'm glad I didn't spend the extra money on the modular now because about the only modifications I have planned at this point are adding a bunch of mud and dog hair.
Interesting.
My plan was to get a Yakima or similar cargo box for the roof rack that should be coming on my 2 door. My son and I pack all our gear in dedicated bags so I'm not sure the rear carrier would work as well. I'd be worried about theft or a rear end collision wiping out...
The illusion of safety depends on what you find threatening I guess. I found the nannies on my wife's loaded Kia Sorento tiresome and distracting more than anything. I was constantly scanning to dash trying to figure out if the settings were correct, what widget was flashing or dinging at me...
I love how they have the matching spare hanging off the back like they actually anticipate changing a flat on the way home from the mall someday. 😄 With my bad back I'd need a forklift or a cherry picker handy before attempting that.
Thank you, this thread confirms my decision not to splurge on the added complexity of the 4A TC. I'd rather drive to the traction limit of 2wd and shift into 4H rather than be somewhere in the middle in 4A wondering if I have enough traction or if I'm just wasting fuel.
Ford doesn't even put a V8 in the F-150 Raptor. Why does anyone think they would put one in the Bronco Raptor??? I don't get this "logic".
Calling the Raptor a specialty vehicle is a stretch in my opinion. Limited production? Sure, but if you want a specialty Bronco, call up Gateway. I bet...
I second this, wtf were they thinking? Just move the valve stem a half inch out and avoid the added fail point. I wonder if this causes balancing issues too?
You underestimate North Dakotans and their love for raffles, which is only eclipsed by their love for hockey and ice fishing. The Great Plains Food Bank is a frequent recipient of these charities and must be one of the best stocked in the country. No doubt this will be another banner day for them.
Got two 7MT BDs on order- a VB 4 door softie and a SB 2 door. It wasn't intended to be a his/hers thing, I thought my 2 door was going to take a lot longer to get scheduled than it did and they both ended up getting scheduled for the same week. My wife wasn't considering a Bronco as her daily...
I agree, a little on the pokey side, but hopefully not as extreme as this:
I think this may be the wheel you're referring to which is a contender, but won't have as much dish as the Ultra 164 either...
