You can stick it anywhere, but since my Heritage has the little screen and I wanted to test it where it's in more direct sun for the heat, this was a great spot. I actually like it there. Plus it passed the heat test.

I went out to my Bronco the other day where the dash said 117* and my Chapstick (classic black/white one is my go-to) was hardly even soft. Totally fine and usable! I think it's the vertical placement that helps. I've tested this all summer down here and I'm so happy it works!
