Ultimately we are talking apples and oranges.....and I now know why we differ on the cost of the 4.27 diff. The 2 door OBX does charge separately for the 4.27 rear diff and Advance 4WD system ($1590 tot), while the 4 door includes both at $795. I have the 4 DR model and only paid $795 as both...
Aha! I now know why we differ on the cost of the 4.27 diff. The 2 door OBX does charge separately for the 4.27 rear diff and Advance 4WD system ($1590 tot), while the 4 door includes both at $795. I have the 4 DR model and only paid $795 as both come in a package, whilst the 2 DR comes ala carte.
Supply chain constraints (as I have personally experienced with minor warranty work) will likely mean your part(s) will have to be ordered and may take 2 weeks to 2 months to arrive at the dealership. Don’t worry about displacing someone with an appointment…..the dealer knows how to schedule...
Again, you are incorrect. I was a first day order for the Bronco OBX and was delivered on December 11. I only paid $795 for both Advanced 4WD and the 4.27 locking diff axle. To validate today’s pricing, go to the Build and Price feature on Ford.com. While the Advanced 4WD option shows...
Correction to your pricing. The Advanced 4WD option for $795 includes the 4.27 gearing and rear locker as I have it on my OBX. I highly recommend it as a measure of performance flexibility should you decide to go with larger tires
First rule of thumb when dealing with warranty repairs……don’t make an appointment with the dealer, just take it in. Yes, you won’t be at the front of the line, but it will get looked at. Appointments are for normal maintenance.
There are many ways to establish a paper trail, but it really comes down to dealer ethics…..if they are going to back up what they indicate they will do at the time of sale. Until that sales contract is produced……and signed, with VIN and odometer reading (required in Calif), either party can...
No deposit is required….I did not have any deposit required as part of the order process and there are many others who also were not required to front a deposit. It’s a dealer by dealer business decision
That’s a pretty rude reply as my order and communication went exactly as it should have and did not require a visit to the dealer:
1: Bronco order content was created using the Ford Build and Price website which then was emailed to the Internet Sales Director who was handling the order.
2: A...
Tongue weight on a 6000 lb trailer is roughly 750 lbs…..that leaves about 600 lbs for WDH, passengers and cargo to remain within rated weight limits. In addition, the GCWR for a Bronco is about 8800 lb. (Subtract the approx 5,000 lb Bronco base weight leaving 3800 lbs for trailer, passengers, &...
I use a small flash drive with music on my Pilot. I recently ordered a tiny flash drive so that the USB door mostly closes and loaded it with music for my OBX. I have 2 different folders for 2 different genres of music. When I open up the USB label, and choose which music folder I want, the...
I ordered and received the original depth organizer and left a 5 Star review on Amazon. It is well made and fits perfectly as a better replacement to the original bin. Ford should have designed something like this in the first place.
We have the same build/trim as you have on order. We also have the 4.27 gears w/advance 4 wheel drive system. Our Bronco currently has 2300 miles on the odo. Current in town mileage has been 16-17mpg and freeway mileage (70-75mph) has been 21-22 mpg, numbers we are quite happy with. My...
I tried the link to buy the console organizer and Amazon tells me it’s sold out…..oops never mind as Amazon allowed my order to be placed. Thank you!
Many shops don’t like performing the labor without the parts purchase due to liability concerns. If you are having trouble finding an installer, you might try a local mom & pop type body shop
