Yep. I haven’t seen a single review (seen well over 20) where the journalist said the Jeep has better road manners. The Raptor always dominates both street and off-road reviews. Every single one of them picked the Raptor as the car they would have. Jeeps remind me of high school, so many girls...
Nobody said that, it helps a lot though. Cuts over half a second off 0-60. You might not have installed yours correctly. $750 installed is nothing for nearly 50hp and 100 torque.
Looks alone the raptor wins. The 392 looks just like a normal tiny jeep that you see all over the freaking road, most with silly ducks in the windshields. Get the ford tune as others have said it makes a big difference.
Same! It’s a turbo with a ton of torque. It should shift into the next gear 1k+ earlier. Engine sounds like shit around 4k rpms too. I would imagine this impacts fuel economy in a big way too.
you would be surprised. Lexus denied a transmission repair due to me having an aftermarket exhaust. Dealerships will do whatever they can to not have to pay.
This post made me laugh. Put your dog in the trunk. My boxers love it back there. It’s much safer for them too, especially if you don’t belt them in.
Haha. I used a draggy, same exact conditions and fuel. Believe what you want. I’ve been racing cars for years definitely not a placebo effect, but keep trying to prove you’re right while we all have a nice laugh.
Ive raced cars for years and 10 pounds makes a big difference man. Losing 10 pounds form the tire makes an even bigger difference in performance. I dropped 15 pounds moving to forged 20s on my bmw M40 and my 0-60 went from 4.4 to 4 flat. Ride quality, braking, handling all improved a ton.
I opened my search to the entire us. I’ve shipped dozens of cars directly to my door and was going to do the same for the Raptor, but found the spec I wanted in NY. I bought it three months ago out the door for 79k. Zero dealership fees. Now the same dealers is selling them for 72k. They are...
