I added the IAG EZ-Lift. I really like it and havenāt noticed any worse creases than stock, but Iāll keep an eye on it. Iām still playing with latch position for the easiest/most consistent forceful latch on both sides. Iāll let you know if my playing comes up with a latch placement procedure...
I got it and the roll bar vinyl installed today. I hate installing vinyl. It isnāt hard I just donāt have the patience for it.
The EZ-Lift soft top assist was easy to install and after a little time with the first bolt I remembered the minor plastic adjustment and it started immediately. It...
Ok, cool. Yeah my local dealers have not been good and why I did not buy from them. Today I had to argue with them for 30 minutes over the parking sensor TSB. They kept telling me it they were supposed to reset upon restart. They are correct on the button but not in Sync updates. Once I showed...
Mine shipped with label created on 3/4 and left 3/7 but are stuck in USPS no updates zone. Oh well they will eventually arrive.
Looking forward to installing when they arrive.
My Bronco had all the errors upon start-up last week. No hill assist, traction control, parking brake applied, etc. I was sitting in it sending some emails and cranked without a seat belt on. I turned it off and restarted with no issues.
My dealer is going to look at it on Monday but I doubt...
I bet it is the simple bracket adjustment. Just loosen up the middle brackets and find the sweet spot. I ultimately had to adjust the front brackets as well. Now everything is silky smooth. It is pretty easy and I wouldnāt bother with dealer if youāre somewhat handy.
Yes. I meant Panasonic developed the system but yāall are correct QNX wrote the software. I assume there was a good deal of collaboration between the two on the development. Either way all car OS systems are pretty rough.
Panasonic did the Sync 3 software (may have been Blackberry but it was controlled by Panasonic) and yes Ford poached some folks for the Sync 4 software portion while Panasonic assembles...
I drove to my local Ford dealer to get the Sync 4 update to eliminate the issue of the rear sensors reactivate to active when dissabled upon restart. They acted like I was from another planet and weren't sure if they could do this. Is this something I do from home?
Passenger swing and two main reasons for me.
1. It does not block the tag with a bike rack.
2. It was available.
Having said that besides the tag I like it now that I've used it. Doesn't block two sides. Doesn't open towards road if pulled over. Tire acts as a great buffer to any cargo, with...
Had my first real celebrity feeling in the Bronco. William Byronās crew were towing his car to Road Atlanta and met them in Tifton, GA yesterday morning. The guy āBobā I met was restoring a 96ā bronco and was taking several pictures of mine and asking a million questions. Cool folks.
Iāve been burning up the road with work. 2284 miles and 17.5 mpg on 93 octane since Iāve filled it up. Includes city, mountain, interstate, backroad, and just normal mode driving. I donāt have sport :(.
I called a few local Kuat representative bike shops. They seem to have the quickest lead times from the main distributor and was a couple weeks versus months with online retailers. I original called a bike shop in CA but he said my local shops should show the same lead time.
I have the AIG soft top lift assist on preorder. The rough country work fine and do what they are supposed to do.
I think IAG, Redline, and MRT are higher quality and appear easier to install.
I hope the soft top assist by AIG is sweet and I use it a bunch more than my hood assist. š
