I cancelled my reservation in January after that depressing “marketing video”. I guess it was a marketing video the one two weeks prior to release of orders. My wife and I watched and I was like this shit is depressing and my wife said umm no you can wait until 2022.
Hindsight everyone may be...
Am I the only one that feels like Ford is encouraging folks to wait? I am now going to wait and I’m an early reservation minutes after opening. I think it will be a badass rig but I want maxed out options and feel like things will be better if I wait. My wife watched that last question...
Well great. Started watching this video this afternoon and my wife was like “Um no. This sounds awful. I don’t think you should get a Bronco. Are you sure this is right? Who are these people and they represent Fords marketing budget? No, I think this is a bad idea and you need to wait.”
Well...
I’m not mad but wow that is a very depressing video. I guess it is an apology video but I would have tried to make it more promotional since I’m taking orders in 3 weeks.
It is like marketing made the release video and didn’t really talk to the project teams. The project teams watched the...
Ok thanks more to think about @Beach_Bum. I pretty well unplugged from this site for most of December. Not much new but sounds like I missed a couple things.
I wonder what that means for hard top after. I’m pretty well set on soft top but that may be the minority and resale comes to mind if...
This is the point. This is the option that offers off-road prowess and a number of creature comfort and luxury items. Is it perfect, maybe not, maybe, but not for everyone. But it is pretty well placed in the market it was targeted.
Sure, some extras could be an option but at this point I’ll be...
Nothing if I wanted a luxury vehicle I’d be shopping for that...
What luxury SUV do you get 35’s, wash out interior, and a removable top? I may be interested.
I can probably get my arm twisted for a weekend and doing Skull Shoals again. It was a great time in 2018 even with the mud. I had a conflict last year with a MTB ride in Cheaha, but I’ll check the dates. I ran the Monster Mountain Harescramble this Saturday. Hopefully night ride will work out...
I think it is great. I’ll wait until I can see myself before calling the whole bolt and wheel well a design oversight. If you ever wrench on a truck even in minor situations there are all kinds of PIA places for bolts to fall and difficult access points. I don’t think the hidden bolts are...
I’m working with an aftermarket big brake kit that is going to use my BL for fitment, photos, in exchange for brakes. Pretty excited as they are well known on the Dakar circuit. The goal is to have everything finalized so they can confirm fitment once I take possession.
I have to admit that was great marketing. It gave me the feels.
My buddy just bought one and unfortunately he’s getting over COVID now but when he’s free he wants to go for some rides.
Reliability and the price are my turn offs but impressive tech and great marketing. It is certainly a maybe...
