So are they asking you to come in and submit your order anyway? I'm also going to be a MY22 and wasn't sure whether to go in and put an order in or wait until we know what the options are for 22s. Anybody know what the procedure is?
@DasQball Yeah, I'm having pretty much the same experience. My dealer doesn't even seem to know how the allocations work or if they even have any. I had to call my dealer and discuss because they seem to be just now looking at how everything works based on my phone call asking questions.
Just a couple days ago you were going BL! Even got the presentation for it approved by the boss right? Congratulations man. I think I'm going to be relegated to a MY22 whether I want to get one or not due to my later reservation.
I'm surprised by all of the 2-door builds. I wish I could do that, as I think they look a bit better than 4-door, but the 4-door is a necessity with 3 kids!
The ONLY things I'm sure of are 2.7L, mid package, advanced 4x4, tow capable. I've found things I like about everything from BD to OBX to BL. Can't make up my mind. I was BD for quite awhile, then saw the OBX in CG with the roast interior and loved that combo. BL is a bit more than I want to...
@Gr8Hortoni When is the cutoff for changing dealers again? I'm still at my local but have been thinking I may be needing a change if I don't hear back from them this week. My uncle came through and I can now use Z plan if my dealer is honoring it though so may not make much sense other than...
I think the MIC on a silver Big Bend is all kinds of weird. Too many shades of related colors to produce enough contrast OR consistency. The carbonized grey grille/wheels/hardtop are too close to silver to make it work. I think it'll look fine with just about any other color than silver.
The only place in Michigan where you could have seen that was on a trail near Williamsburg, MI. Too bad they didn't get better pics. I don't think any dealers have anything on display at this point. Maybe I'm wrong though.
I keep going through BB, BD, and BL. Not so excited about that BL price tag when I'm done. BB and BD have most everything I want/need. I'm struggling with the soft top vs. the MIC grey hard top. I'd really like a black painted top but don't want to wait. I think I'm fine with either engine...
Seelye in Kalamazoo. Initial communication was sent from a salesperson there and got an email back on xplan pricing prior to the news that xplan doesn't apply to Bronco. Sent an email about a couple other details to him and the sales manager and never heard back. I did inquire at Varsity and...
I think they're available on everything but the Base and Black Diamond. At least that's what Ford's website says. Under Safety, it's not listed as an option. Not sure if it's an oversight for BD or not, but these two trims come with the same grill so I wouldn't be surprised if it's correct.
However, if you don't like the steelies, you can get high gloss painted aluminum wheels as an option. Since I don't need the front locker or any of the packages above mid, I think I'm going BD.
Yeah, I really hope it isn't that color. I think Seahawks or Microsoft XBox special event are likely scenarios. The Bronco was already featured during a graphic on Monday Night Football and that crazy bright green is also in the XBox theming. Let's all hope its something else.
