I really wish the issue of soft tops rubbing on the roll bars would have been brought up since they will be mass producing soft tops while the hard tops get figured out.
Now that they will be ramping up production on the soft tops, have they identified a fix for the issue with the soft tops rubbing against the roll bars and scratching off the paint?
This is pretty much my assumptions as well after reading Ford's update. They've only sent out emails for the week of August 30th. I would assume most of September and October and potentially some of November will be full steam ahead with soft top builds. Then once they get the hard tops...
My current vehicle is a 2019 Ranger and it has this same horrible feature. I will say that it's become second nature to me that after I start the engine I hit the ASS disable button without even thinking about it now.
I was surprised that Ford didn't offer some variation of this color. Seems like a natural fit for this vehicle. With that said, I think the shade of green used on this wrap missed the mark a bit. A little more muted green would be better.
Same here. I drove it with the top off and the whistle was pretty loud at highway speed. It sounded to me like it was coming from the driver side view mirror, not the grille.
@ZackDanger thanks for your informative post. I'm hoping for my Bronco by the end of the year but I know it's a crapshoot right now. At least with priority code 19 I now know that it is on the radar to build and not just in limbo.
Glad to hear the 2.3L has enough power to propel the 4 door with Sasquatch. That's exactly what I'm getting and I was a bit worried that it may be sluggish.
Also I should point out that I have a 2019 Ranger which also has the 2.3L and 10 speed auto, and it is very quick. But the wheels are...
Yup, an order yesterday. Good lord I hope I don't have to wait that long. Of course talking to the salesman at my dealer he was completely clueless and said that it usually takes 6 to 8 weeks from order to delivery. I assume he is used to putting in orders for Escapes, or something like that...
So how many different priority codes are there? I just placed my order yesterday and got a priority code 19. Granted I purposely avoided the hard top so I can get mine sooner, but I'm curious to know if the priority code options are just 19 or 99, or are there more options than that?
