  1. Off road shop labor rates?

Whoa! Lol…I feel ya on the old, worn out guy part. Was a firefighter in a busy department for 35 years, now retired and 63. I was just chatting with @Silver-Bolt about me maybe picking up a hydraulic lift table from HF. Would be cheaper than the shop labor rates for bumper/bull guard/winch...
  2. Off road shop labor rates?

Dang man, Dallas is high! I guess the cost of living must be more there than where I live.
  3. ARB Summit Bumper installed.

th Thank you for the info, most helpful. I just realized you and I were communicating in the labor rate thread as well. 🤣 From install guide online, it appears two holes need to be drilled for bumper bolts to frame-no biggie. I know you said you don’t have a winch. The only issue I wasn’t...
  4. Off road shop labor rates?

Yes indeed. An ARB Summit and a Warn Zeon 10S. I haven’t picked up the bumber yet, but did pickup the winch. Looked through ARB’s installation guide online and it looked pretty challenging for one person.
  5. Off road shop labor rates?

Looks like a great price in your area.
  6. Off road shop labor rates?

I am fully capable knowledge and abilities wise…not my first rodeo by a long shot. I moved here recently and don’t have any help…the bumper weighs 170 lbs. and the winch is another 70 lbs. Definitely not a solo venture.
  7. 4x4 shops in Western Kentucky or Middle Tennessee?

Cool! I’m in Murray on Kentucky Lake. Not too far off. Thanks!
  8. Arb summit bumper

One more question…did you relocate your winch control pack?
  9. ARB Summit Bumper installed.

Getting ready to pull the trigger on this bumper. I have a couple of questions maybe you could help me with. 1.) Any modification required like drilling or cutting on the Bronco? 2.) is there a wiring harness that comes with it to make bumper turn/markers functional? 3.) How did you tap in to...
  10. Finishing up Bronco Tool Kit

Well, it’s really personal preference. Depends on what tools and equipment you feel you need to carry, if it’s always with you or just when wheeling, how much room you want to take up and if you can deal with rattles. I am pretty happy with my set up. Boxo tools are great quality, but the UTV...
  11. Off road shop labor rates?

Just curious what off road shop hourly labor rates are in your area. I was quoted $150/hour.
  12. 4x4 shops in Western Kentucky or Middle Tennessee?

Turns out my local Line-X dealer can get the ARB Summit bumper at the same cost as purchasing one online. They can do the install with the Warn Zeon 10S I just purchased…but labor is $150/hour. ARBā€˜s labor time is 4-6 hours. I may order it and install myself, which I have the knowledge to do...
  13. Finishing up Bronco Tool Kit

Good questions. I went with the Boxo UTV tool roll over the Boxo off road bag for two reasons…1.) At the time I purchased, the off road bag was more expensive than it is now, they dropped the price to within $15 one week after I received the UTV roll. There was also room in the roll to add...
  14. 4x4 shops in Western Kentucky or Middle Tennessee?

Looking on the net, it appears 4WP pulled out of Nashville and Memphis. There’s a shop in Nashville called Music City 4x4, that’s about it and they are about 130 miles from me here in Western KY.
  15. 4x4 shops in Western Kentucky or Middle Tennessee?

I know, I know, blasphemy getting someone else to do an install. Does anyone know of any good off road shops that are in Western Kentucky or Middle Tennessee. My internet search only showed one shop in Nashville. Thanks.
  16. Finishing up Bronco Tool Kit

The Tricky Dick kit is awesome. The only reason I didn’t go that route was I wanted a complete tool roll that worked for most everything-including the tie rod replacement. He and I messaged and he was a huge help. Great guy. Anyhow, this is what I ended up with. Sounds like you are set up well too.
  17. Finishing up Bronco Tool Kit

Agreed. The most common things I’ve heard or experienced for the Bronco are flat tires, dead batteries and broken inner tie rods. So, I carry an inflator, plug kit, spare valve stems, jumpers and a spare inner tie rod with boot and clamps. Of course you have to have the tools to go make those...
  18. 15% OFF WARN winches!!!

Pulled the trigger on a Zeon 10S from North Ridge 4x4. Too good a deal to pass up. That, a wireless controller and a Factor 55 flat link (also on sale) should be here Monday. Now just have to save up enough to get the ARB Summit bumper.
  19. Finishing up Bronco Tool Kit

I made a post earlier about a tool kit I was putting together for my Bronco. Based on some of the feedback I received from you all, I think I pretty much have it where I want it. This is just tools to help with repairs. My recovery gear is separate from this. BoxoUSA UTV Tool kit (tool roll)...
