Rail sucks. My wife's wrangler came from toledo via rail, which is 5 hours from us, and it took 2 weeks after being notified it was in transit.

How else would people swap from hard top to soft top seasonally if it weren't removable?

We just recently had a Pacifica loaner with this feature, our first experience with it in a vehicle. Literally the first time it turned of my wife was like "why isn't the air working" so it was very noticeable. It's certainly possible they're not all created equal

It's annoying. My biggest complaint is the AC turns nearly off when it engages too, so it can warm up pretty quick depending on the temperature

Correct. The Gladiator is rated at 4,500 though. Our Wrangler 4xe is also only rated for 3,500 pounds and it's got 370 hp and 470 ft-lb

Seems unlikely. I've seen multiple stories of Tesla's being in minor accidents and the owners end up waiting months for parts to become available. Can't imagine Ford would have different rules than another auto maker

What made you believe that dealers would suddenly become knowledgeable about their products? They've had decades to provide a bare minimum of knowledge and the salesmen rarely do.

Haven't looked too hard atbsoft top stuff as it's not really of interest to me I just remembered seeing that Bestop video. Figured it was at least an option now if they were releasing videos on it...but Bronco

I actually don't feel as foolish for converting my night 1 ressie to an October one through Granger now. We wanted a WT with mod top originally, so there was no chance I was getting that anyways. At least Im locked into the best deal I could likely find, even if it's 3 MYs later than anticipated lol
