Factory skid plates in the accessory list are $695, not a bad price. Don't know what they are, though. It's weird that the gas tank skid comes on a 2dr but not on a 4dr. With the 4dr the tank is even more exposed than on a 2dr. Looks like possible skids are the front, which comes with the MOD...
What Bronco do you have ordered? And how do you plan to use it? I assume you won't sell your EB.
What do you mean by the MT/SaS/2.7 comment? I don't get it. None of those three translate into a hardcore rock rig. Motor doesn't matter, and the 2.3 has plenty of power. SaS is the shocks, which...
Hmm, sorry, looks like a dumb idea to me. One of the great things about the Bronco, and which the designers worked hard on, is the approach angle. Approach angle is very important when actually going off road, which is when you might need a winch. This system ruins approach angle. Now, some...
Of course they do. Thing is, rocks don't just hit from the bottom. That's easy. They also hit from the side. If you're on the trail and driving around rocks that you don't want to drive over, that are bigger than you want to drive over, then you can drive next to them and possibly pivot off of...
My wife had trouble getting into the Bronco, so I plan to get the Rock Slide Engineering rock rail steps. Both a strong rock slider and a good step. Not cheap, but the they won't bend like the Go Rhino steps are likely to do if actually up against rocks on the trail...
Has the M190 been rated as stronger than an older D44? Where is that info? Not arguing, just want to see the info. And, what strength are we talking about, the ring and pinion, or the axles, or both? I still have not been able to find any info on the differences between the M210 axles and the...
Good looking Bronco! I have a white Badlands on order, but a 2dr. Love the pics of Hell's Revenge, and Hell's Gate! Super cool to be able to hit Moab with the new Bronco. (y)
Since it was mentioned in the original post, and there are lots of people getting Broncos that are relatively new to...
So, what's your definition of best? You said better and smoother ride....compared to what?
So, do you want a softer suspension than stock? Is that what you really want with 37" tires? Or do you mean better and softer (more capable) suspension while you're hauling ass over rough terrain. Or, do...
Factory skid plates are listed on the dealer accessory parts list for Broncos. They are very reasonably priced, but I do not know exactly which skid plates are included.
Yeah, the passenger compartment looks amazingly intact. Someone inside would have been beat around quite a bit, but at least the vehicle wouldn't have caved in on them.
Black Bear Pass Rd. I was there a few weeks ago.
Any lithium battery can go to 0%. Well, not actually 0% but very close where the BMS (battery management system) shuts off the power from the battery. Just like your phone.
As you know, a lead/acid battery can only go to 50% or the battery like will be severely shortened.
A one inch lift, like the one from Zone, will let you put 35's on it if you like the look. The rear locker on the BD will already make the Bronco very capable for light or occasional off roading. So, how does the cost compare to adding Sasquatch vs a small lift installed and buying new tires...
Nope. PCV is Positive Crankcase Ventilation, has nothing to do with fuel. Emissions is engine management, catalytic converter, and the evap system in the gas tank. None of those have anything to do with a catch can.
The OP asked a question. I gave him an answer. His best move is to be positive and expect the best. If you're negative and expect the worst you're likely to have your expectations fulfilled. You, on the other hand, are simply making easy generalizations about all dealers. Like I just said, I bet...
Well, since you mentioned me, I absolutely won't buy a Bronco without the M210 front end. I want the steel M210, and not the aluminum M190. I am going back and forth between a basesquatch and a Badlands without Sasquatch. Recently I priced out getting a base base and adding gears and lockers...
Oh, that's right, most dealers are unscrupulous businesses.
You say dealers are always out to make the most money. Well, to do that you must have the most customers. Dealers are just like other businesses, repeat customers is the best business. What I said applies to life, if you...
Why can't you renegotiate the same price? Why are you getting weird before you even talk to them? Why do you automatically assume you're going to get screwed before you even go there? Like the famous quote from Henry Ford " if you think you can, or if you think you can't, you're right".
Assume...
