Swung buy my dealer this morning on a coffee run... They have a pair of CO and I believe Velocity Blue and Carbonized grey.
That grey looks fantastic, I gotta say....
That CO probably would pop like crazy in direct sun with a few layers of wax on it!
But it's definitely yellow. I was under...
Went in for my order appointment today... Not budging off MSRP, said throwing in any accessories unlikely, won't considering matching X-plan, and I'm pretty sure they locked me into this dealership...
Thought about it later... We didn't submit the build yet but he converted the reservation. So...
Squatching the BL, and removing Cyber Orange paint, and roof rails and going with the 2.3L engine so keep costs down, it's over $3000 more than a Wildtrak, with all the accessories I want (besides rock rails because they're not on Canadian B&P. And obviously, V6 engine. That damn WT interior...
Did y'all see the video on BN that showed this? Basically, like an Austin Martin or something, when you grab the door handle, the window drops down outta the channel seal, and back in again when you close it.
Us Canadians gonna thing this will work for us? Lol
Window channel looks really...
Totally think the 35's would look much better under the standard fender flares.
So..... Even swap??
Y'all going with 37's probably aren't gonna start with a Squatched Bronco to begin with, and the Squatch flares would look perfect with the 37's I think.
Early morning on a Saturday, in search of a Bronco, I wondered in to Ford's software R&D facility in hopes of finding a Bronco. One has been spotted in town previously...
But came across a pair of Mach-E's...
One in "that" blue paint we'll see on the FE's
Better luck next time I guess!
I'm pretty sure the Wildtrak (among others) has standard bash plates...
Do we know what these cover? Steel? Aluminum?
I'm thinking Badlands armour would probably be overkill for me... Or aftermarket aluminum might be a better choice... Or standard WT.
I'm kinda OCD about overall weight, and...
Badlands with 2.7, non-squatch, high pack
Wildtrak with mod bumper, floor liners, high pack.
Do I need HD bash plates? Probably not...
Would like rails on the WT (not on Canadian B&P) however.
Not too keen on WT interior though..
Will those 35's be okay for winter driving? Compared to 33...
So it clearly not a GVWR thing, as you can't get a roof rack on a Squatched base 4 door with 2.3, same as you can't get it with the V6 on any other squatched trim. So a dynamic vehicle weight/center of gravity thing?
You can add rack to a Squatched 2 door though!
Canada doesn't get the FE...
The options/accessories on the Ford.ca site won't give me any accessories...
I'm thinking maybe an after market winch mount?
Also, can rock sliders be added to the Wildtrak? That option missing as well for us canuks.
Kitchener Ford in Ontario Canada... Biggest Ford dealer in the area...city is maybe 250k people.
Impressive!
So if Ford starts delivery in June, that 7 month left in the year..
About 28 weeks...
That's over 7 Broncos delivered per week! From one average dealership!
Gonna be a steady flow of...
2 door Badlands, in Canada.adding auto to the 2.3 is $1750
Going with the 2.7L V6 only adds $250...and you also get one-pedal crawl mode.
Is this the deal of the century??
My only concern on the 2 door is range.
How much worse will mileage be?
We're only talking 18 gallon tank... Even the...
Assuming both examples have rear locker of course....
I think I've witnessed more struggles with free front axles with 35's or 37's, than say 32 or 33's all locked up.
Ford says the Order books open up in December...
Personally, I think it'll be delayed. I mean, B&P is still a hot mess 2 weeks after going live. Canadian site accessories options all blank still... No "late availability" options listed...
Ford just isn't ready for this...
And not to be...
I really wanna do a small, light soft-top RTT, but would also like a basket. I think Smittybilt has a small (front to back) cage...
I wonder if I add a 3rd crossbar towards the front, if I could mount both on the 2 door....
I'm hoping that wasn't the GPS /sat antenna we saw in the rear crossmember of the Sportbar in the reveal video...?
Did Ford give consideration to antenna location with regards to roof racks and topside gear mounting??
