Honestly, I am chomping at the bit to get my OBX. But I have 0 control over when it gets here. I have enough problems causing my to go gray. I understand the insanity and frustration, but trying to keep my expectations suuuper low. It will get here eventually.

That’s what I thought. He said sometimes their system and Ford’s system don’t communicate well (whatever that means) but idk what to think. Just hoping I didn’t get bamboozled.

Does anyone who’s received a build date’s dealer not have a confirmation on their end? My dealer has no idea I had a VIN and build date.

Interesting. It would be nice if someone from Ford would provide some clarity on this stuff.

So apparently if you ordered through a dealer it won’t show up. Once you have a VIN it can be added to your Ford account.

Any chance you can help get my order status? I tried calling, but no luck.

That’s the thing. I have what I think is an order number, but it’s not 8 digits. Mine is 4 - 3 numbers and a letter. But not sure if that’s the actual number or just a dealer thing.

Did your order show on your Ford account before today? I wasn’t able to access my order through the Ford website, so I’m thinking that may be the issue.

No luck. Maybe it is because I ordered direct through the dealer. The order doesn’t show on my Ford account, despite getting a confirm email from Ford when I ordered. Back to F5!
