Update on University Ford in Durham, NC: Just went and met with a sales manager named Dan. Told him I am X Plan eligible and he says they "are not accepting that initially."

@bronchalen84 $1300 under invoice if you have X-plan. $1000 under invoice if you don't. Search the forum. They have a thread detailing it all.

Just fyi, the X-plan caps the fees at $100 and you can tell them not to do the extra dealer installed things. I'm still up in the air. I'm originally from WV so I'm tempted to go up there, drive another 2 hours north to visit family then back. I'll have to wait until the official pricing...

Rumor has it that Velocity Blue is a late availability color. Does this mean that it can be ordered in December, just late delivery or will we have to wait to order? Either way, how much of a delay? I have more questions but others have already posted them! Thank you!

Yeah i tried to convey that most people in here are saying they'd like to stay local. About 2 weeks after reservations, he told me they had around 100. I'm guessing they feel like they don't need anymore. Smaller dealerships might jump on a deal though.

I forwarded the Granger and Stephens info to Crossroads Wake Forest. They said they won't match that either. I told him a lot of people are looking at other dealerships due to these deals but wanted to stay local. He knows I have Xplan so he didn't mention anything about those without. He...

Xplan is Invoice minus 0.4% plus a $275 program fee and doc fees capped at $100. So probably a little over invoice since the program fee would be more than a 0.4% discount.

They did say they'd pick up at the Charleston airport or car rental return spots near Charleston or Danville. ?

Agree 100%. I have no problem giving a refundable deposit for a vehicle I have seen and driven. At this point, I'm skeptical if we'll even see the paint colors in real life before ordering opens.
