No, they are not the same at all they are as different as a Tesla vs Ford. Both are cars, but function in a very different way.
To best explain, you need to understand on a rough overview how the ford audio system works.
The link between the headunit and the amplifier is done through a digital...
In your application I would recommend our A2B pro pre amp, this will allow you to remove the factory amp and also provide a inbuilt DSP that will allow you to fully tune the system. It also comes with basic plug and play harnessing
Let me know if you have any questions...
The hunt for the perfect tune is a long journey for sure. high quality speakers make this journey significantly shorter, the more linear the speaker the less Eqing needed!
This week we released an update to mObridge DSP that has fixed that bug where old tunes were not loading correctly with the...
Our amp will pair up with them nicely, we have more than enough power to drive them.
Keep in mind that the DSP in the amp is fully adjustable so in theory there is no such thing as speakers that wont pair up well with the amp after a bit of adjustment!
We do not have a pre done tune for them...
There are plenty of reviews of this amp on this forum that summaries the difference. If you search mObridge you'll see a few pop up.
In our opinion, It is night and day. You have more than 3 times the power per channel on average, 8 times the power on the sub channel. Full DSP control per...
Still working on it! We have got a few projects going at the moment to this isn't getting our full bandwidth, which is why it is taking a little longer than hoped. We have got all data we need out of the car and are currently building up prototype units!
I'll send this through to the software guys and get it sorted. I think you'll need a new version of mObridge DSP which has been released for windows but not for Mac
You cant view the mic via our software.
You want to get pink noise playing through the system at a loudish volume and mute all speakers, one by one use REW's RTA viewer (room eq wizard, start with 1/3rd octave if this is your first time tuning) to view the mics input, and then make adjustments...
I would highly recommend with any install on a B&O system to put an A2B interface in. This will make the install far easier and will yield better results too.
When it comes to the clip point coming out of our unit this is fully adjustable. We can make it clip at volume 1 if you want. That being...
The B&O system is no doubt the worst premium factory audio system I have heard. The speakers are cheap and low quality and so is the amp, it all needs to be replaced. We have teamed up with morel to make a complete kit including all speakers, this will be on sale in a few months.
If you can't...
I would highly recommend an A2B interface, this will allow you to remove the factory amplifier which is most likely the source for your issues here. You are fighting the factory eq-ing, even if you use input equalization you're still fighting phase filtering which the musway DSP cannot correct...
