KC C2 floods wired to Aux6 and the backup circuit. Come on with backup every time, or can fire the KC and backup lights with Aux 6 when not in reverse.
My fuel tank skid has taken on the most scuffs so far. That's in 3 off-roading sessions. As far as I know I haven't hit the front LCA's yet, but I have a really awesome spotter. Haven't hit the rear shock mounts yet either, but I do have some uninstalled skids for them. Looks like those skids...
I am very happy with them. They were expensive, but if they last a long time they will be worth it.
Modern cameras do a good job gathering as much light as possible, so to the naked eye they aren't quite as bright as they appear in the pics. If I can get them aimed to the sides they will be...
Night pics are tricky. I would call them about equal to the OEM fogs that come in the capable bumper.
They need to be adjusted - they are pointing straight back. I would like them angled to the sides more. Will have to make some angled spacers for that to work.
I was worried about rocks contacting lights hanging off the bumper as well, but really needed (wanted) more light at the rear. I went with the KC C2's and lucked out that the hitch already had mounting holes in a great spot. If you have a 7 pin plug this location won't work, but I only use my...
So.... the question is still out there. Why do you want to do this?
Parked - fine. Driving - don't. Unless you're one of the super-human drivers who thinks they can multitask driving and watching a movie without any risk to others. Wanna only put yourself at risk? Go for it, but if you...
Unfortunately I am now in this 'exclusive' club. Noise started around 600 mi, now have a little over 900. Definitely goes away when you 'lean' on 6th gear. Drives fine, and goes away when fully up to temp.
Interesting side note - yesterday it was mid 20's here. Took the Bronco out early...
Picked mine up last night. (wooHoo!)
Hassle-free delivery experience, but still took a long time. Price protection honored, and I'm really glad I kept my original DORA with the order price on it.
My family is in town for the holidays now, so I won't do too much with it until after...
Mine has been at the rail yard for a week now. @Baja71 was on the same train and took delivery of his Bronco a couple days ago.
I wonder if the dealer contracts this last leg of transport, or Ford.
Sometime since yesterday's OCD status update my estimated delivery date has slipped 5 days. It was 12/17-12/23, and now is 12/22-12/28. It is sitting less than 10 miles from house, ~20 miles from the dealer. It arrived at the rail yard on MONDAY DEC 12!
@Baja71 - Did you get any news on yours?
I stopped checking the CSX line once it arrived at the rail yard, but then I saw this update! Checked just now and my rail car was empty as of 4:00 or so today! Another step, and a good indication that it was probably still on the rail car when the tornados went through. Phew!
My dealer...
