How much room is there between the tailgate and the tire carrier?

That LoD Offroad bumper carrier is nice, but you're at about $2500 by the time it's all said and done. Without shipping.

I think I'm going to go this way as well. My big issue is having a bunch of swinging things. Swing tailgate and swinging tire carrier(s) might be a little wild at times.

I dicked one of the latches off of a pipe hanging from a parking garage. Funny enough, it had the height on there. No damage, a little yellow on the latch. Lesson learned, no more gifts for the wife from the mall.

I was really wondering what that might look like too!?!? Ebay has them listed from $600ish to $1200. Sold is a different story, looks like $400ish to $700ish, but there's only a couple sold. Shipping those would suck, at least you have those boxes!!!
