Thanks, guys. I'll contact Warn probably, but in the meantime I ordered a black one on Ebay. Custom printed ones on Etsy were kinda tempting, too, but not sure what I'd have printed on it.
Guys, did everyone get the red Warn fairlead pull thing for their winch? Maybe I just haven't run across it yet, but it wasn't with the other winch stuff in the glovebox.
I understand the thought process, but I didn't buy it as an investment. I bought a tool, hopefully a dependable, comfortable and full of future memories tool to use until it or I are not capable anymore. And at that point patina and the coolness that only comes from use have some value, too...
Capable yet sophisticated, with a touch of goofy is kinda how I roll. I'm going to keep the wee, wading Squatch for now. It's pretty subtle at any kind of distance, and makes me laugh. If and when I grow tired of it, I'll take it off. I do appreciate your compliment, though, capable and...
Bought an Everglades for various reasons, not the least of which was the Desert Sand color. Anyway, I didn't dig the Everglades sticker at first, but it was growing on me. My wife, however, didn't like it and because I didn't totally love it, away it went, with my fingernails, some Goo Gone, and...
I didn't finish tonight, forgot that it was my night to cook, lol. I left the wading Squatch from the graphic, it's pretty subtle but I like it. I'll definitely post pics when I'm done.
Well, I pulled the trigger on the decal removal. It was semi, sorta, kinda growing on me, but the wife disliked it as much as I initially did, so it's gone. Top photo was about 3 minutes with my fingernail, grabbed a 5 gallon bucket to sit on and got to it. Maybe 80 percent of it peeled off in...
Picked up my check at the credit union this afternoon. 3.29%/72 months. Dealership said they couldn't beat that. Trading that check for my Bronco tomorrow morning. Finally.
Picking up my Everglades tomorrow, a week after it arrived at the dealership. Hurricane, a medical procedure, blah, blah, blah, have kept me from getting there, but tomorrow is the day. 757 days from reservation to pick up.
It's at the dealership, but I can't pick it up until Monday. I've been waiting just over two years since my reservation, I guess a few more days won't kill me. With my luck, though, the hurricane will do it in before I pick it up.
My Everglades delivery window updated from Oct. 1-7 to Sept. 27-Oct. 3 at some point recently. Seems like a good sign, but we'll see. Just in time for the storm, sigh.
