I guess with any business some dealers go the extra mile to learn more about their shipments/statuses while others are pleasantly surprised (dumbfounded) when the truckload of vehicles shows up on the dealer lot
How my dealer conversation just went…
Me: Hi, calling to see if there are any updates on the Bronco. ETA was last week.
Salesman: yeah we won’t know anything until it gets to Petersburg, VA.
Me: yeah that was Saturday morning.
Salesman: and how did you…
Me: I’ve been tracking it since it...
So my Bronco remains delivered at the rail yard waiting to be delivered to the dealer. I called my dealer yesterday to tell them and they seemed disinterested. I swear I’m selling this thing to myself. Can I collect the amount over invoice /s?
So my theory that they can lose builds holds true. Also very unfortunate you are one of those folks. I had a feeling my Bronco sat “lost” on the lot for the 10 days after it was released and by luck someone scanned it and took it to be loaded for shipment. Hope your buddy can help you out!
I’ve had the realization that even if my Bronco shows up to my dealership this weekend, I neglected to get my docs from my Bank and they are closed til Monday. Whoops.
I called my dealer yesterday to give them the updates and asked if they could give me a kind of timeframe when they expect it from Petersburg to our area and they said they don’t ever track that kind of stuff. They just rely on Fords eta. They get it when they get it. Ugh. No help lol. Who here...
Norfolk train number says my train car is at its final destination of Poe VA this morning. Now just have to wait for a truck to pick up and deliver a mere hour away
