The shelf has some adjustability from front to back. I have mine slid all the way to the rear toward the tailgate. This leaves about 8 inches between the rear seat and the shelf, so it definitely does not provide security for the entire area.
I have been using this setup for over 2 years with no issues at all. I no longer need sway bars which is one of the main reasons I went with this setup. You won't be disappointed!

255/75R17. I’m sure you could squeeze a 33 inch tire in there but it might not cover the entire inside of the tire like it does on the 32. Since you’re using FordPass points, I’d say go for it!

@Badlands51 made some awesome tray holders out of wood that I purchased from him. Not sure if he has or would make more, but they are unique and custom made to fit the center most trays. Cheers!
