You can get the painted gloss black modular hard top with Outer Banks and Badlands. Wildtrak and FE already come with it. It is not listed as an option for Base, Big Ben, or Black Diamond.
When the Bronco launched the "painted body color hard top" was an option on all models. They removed it. However it is still listed on the Canadian website.
According to this thread the Webasto factory that is going to make the MIC grey hard tops is still being built. It seems that all of these different hard tops are not final production until next year. Hopefully Ford has noticed some of the concerns about it. Ahem...
I'm getting white and want black sport bars. I think to paint the sport bars a different color they would have to tape off the rest of the truck.

The Daytime Running Lights used to be Non-Configurable and now they are Configurable so I think it is likely that now you can configure the Daytime Running Lights.
I am disappointed that Ford removed the painted modular hard top option from the 2 Door Black Diamond and Big Ben. I feel like it is reasonable for the consumers to ask Ford that the $1900 painted modular hard top should still be an option. Right now on their website it is no longer an option...
