  1. 100,000 mile 2.3 Sasquatch bronco review

Lesson of the day, check engine light means get diagnosis to see what is wrong with the system. That engine would have been saved had they at least pulled some plugs to check the misfire codes. This coming from some who sells parts and would love that commission from selling a new engine...
  2. Check this NOW if you have a 2021 Bronco -- cracks on rear control arm upper brackets

June 21 build, elder of dirt mountain and open. Mine is not cracking, but does have the rust on the weld. Only has Bilstein 5100 and wildtrack tires and wheels. Not hardcore off road, only a few times down N. Padre and a couple of hidden falls trips
  3. DTC P0420 - Check Engine Light for Catalytic Converter

Most of the time a p0420 or cat code does not mean a bad cat. When you purchase a new cat, there is usually a note in there saying to not replace it based solely on that code. That code only means that the sensor data reported back to the ECM is out of range. If the cat is not clogged and you...
  4. Introducing the Upgraded Mabett Ford Bronco Wireless Charging Pad!

I have been using mine all week. The phone does stay cooler as does the charger. It does not reach the point where the charging stops like on the previous model. It charges faster than android auto can drain it too. I do hear the fans a little, more of just the pulsing of them. I can also...
  5. Dead Battery

If it is only charging up to 10.4 you could have a bad cell now. They are not deep cycle batteries and do not like to get down to super low voltage.
  6. Trying to determine poke…

Might want to put some paint protection film on your nice painted flares on the leading edge of the rear, I found out the hard way why SAS does not have them
  7. Ford Service is telling me I need to sell my Bronco

If they are replacing oxygen sensors to fix a misfire, I would find someone else with better diagnostic skills. My engine has been fine for 33k so far. Sounds like some these shade tree mechanics that come in my store with their customers.
  8. Any update on a real 2 door soft top (not a trek top)?

In love my Trek Top, but I've been rocking my a/c friendly hard top all summer in my part of Texas with the 100+ temps every single day this year.
  9. Can a dealer "redo" sales contract AFTER you sign?

If you have not given them the down payment then the contract is not completely fulfilled and 100% funded. The dealer can cancel the deal based on what ever terms are in the exit clause of the contract.
  10. Marine grade vinyl not holding up. Have a couple rips starting

Makes me glad for my cloth seats and neoprene seat covers. Not getting vinyl had been one of my regrets.
  11. Skid Plates That Would be Prudent to Add?

A hole for it to drain, and a dorman aftermarket plug that I open with a screwdriver.
  12. Hard top rippled / cracking!

Flashback to two years ago with dirt mountain!
  13. Can a dealer "redo" sales contract AFTER you sign?

Not an attorney here either, just really loved business law in college. There is no more contract as all conditions have been fulfilled, as you have the truck and dealer has been funded fully by the loan company. The only recourse would be a lawsuit due to fraudulent conditions caused by one...
  14. New Bestop trek top EBay - to good to be true?

I had to drill extra holes .5 inch back to get my cable to get tight.
  15. *** DIRT MOUNTAIN Broncos - Built, Shipped, Delivered Tracker***

Mines at 32k now, and the way the prices are going on them she will not be replaced any time soon!
  16. SpringTXOR

HABO - Houston Area Bronco Owners

There are lots of warning signs if it is going to be a dangerous without experience/equipment, off rodeo does instill a ton of confidence in what even a base bronco can do.
