Not to throw fuel on the fire, but my dealer said "I don't know anything about December 7th." Do we have an official announcement and or statement showing that was supposed to be the date to convert reservations to orders?
Edit: Would like to give this information to my dealer.
I think it'll handle the back off road trails just fine. Not looking to do the rock crawls or crazy off roads. What I'm most concerned about is in like 1-2 years of adding the roof rack, rtt, and equipment and going on the trails. Then another 7-8 years and getting an off road teardrop...
@Skip2a Yes sir. I'm right off of Shiloh Rd. It was between them or Joel Confer.
State College received my reservation as the Bronco Sport. I had to forward my reservation to fix my problem. This still makes me nervous.
When the X-Plan was potentially a thing, I reached out to Joel Confer...
This is what I've been wanting to do. Cross country trip in a 4dr BL with a 2.7. But looks like I'll either need to drop down to a 2dr or a BD 4dr if the payload is this low. I'm doubting that the payload is only going to be 900lbs. Crossing my fingers that it's higher and really anxious to...
Are insurance companies typically aware of the modifications you make to your vehicle? Or are supposed to make them aware of that? How would they know you’re over by 20lbs? Serious question
I just want Ford to come out with more direct specs for the GVWR and payload. I, like most probably are, am anxiously waiting to see if they’ll need to jump down from a BL 4dr to a 2dr, 2.7 to a 2.3, or a BL to a BD.
Welcome! There’s good information and folks here. Someone is always willing to help you. Just don’t say anything that may cause chairs to be thrown and you’ll be fine. For the most part, I think most of us are just ready to submit our orders if you sense we’re going in multiple of different...
Two quick stories.
First: My reservation was for a BD. Got the email from Ford to verify. Seven days later I heard from my Ford Dealership to congratulate me on my recent reservation for the Bronco Sport. I sent them my reservation verification from Ford and the changes were made. Crossing my...
I'm glad you brought this up. I was literally thinking if anyone else was still concerned or let it brush off. Still aiming to get a 4dr 2.7 BL. I'll probably go aftermarket with the roof rack, sound deadening, and rtt. Not looking to add much of anything else. Maybe a brush bar in the far...
That's what I'm looking to do. Do trips in the woods and the mountains of the North East or head West. Hoping the trade in value will hold on my FJ even with some rust.
Damn lol. We wouldn't be a concern for the maximum weight capacity if that's what you're getting at lol. I was going to wait for the aftermarket. Hope RhinoRack comes out with something nice.
Probably wouldn't look at a trailer for another 5-10 years when kids are in existence. Think I found the answers to my questions. Narrowed it down to a 4dr badlands with the 2.3L or 4dr badlands with the 2.7L and aftermarket springs that are stronger (most likely this option). Not looking to...
I would be looking to be solo and +1 until kids happened (few years). My dd for work is 4-5 miles one way. That saves a lot on my car.
In the future I would look into this though.
It's a good thing I have 11 extended family members who I will cram into my 4.5 passenger vehicle.
But in all seriousness, not looking to have heavy armor or cram people in there.
Looking to our off-road and trail riding vets for their professional expertise.
I had my heart and mind set to go with the 4dr Badlands with the 2.7L, towing and high package. I would like to have a 4dr for future practicality (kids, spacing, storage, etc.), the 2.7 for the power especially...
I've gone back and forth so many times on this. Because of wanting the 2.7 and not being able to select it with the sound deadening, I've been more drawn to the high package since it has the additional sound deadening with the 12" screen and 360 cam.
Need help/advice in other areas of the B&P.
