No, just don’t cancel your reservation. It is not a bad idea to go ahead and convert and let the dealer know you want a 2022MY and they can mark it as such in the order bank

Generally on a factory order a priority code below 20 is fine. It doesn’t matter much 10, 11, 12, etc. The vehicle will be built based on reservation time stamp and commodity availability.

I totally agree. I just think that there are folks switching dealerships not understanding that allocation plays a roll in whether they get a 2021 or 2022MY. I’m sure you gathered I am a dealer and I have an early reservation myself. I will pay MSRP to get a 2021 knowing I could save a few grand...

Good points. If you plan on ordering a Bronco and the dealer is using available allocation to take your order, it is pretty reasonable that they expect you to actually buy and take delivery of it.

They are not lying about Ford having a requirement that a high percentage (80%) of their converted reservations have to be delivered to the ordering customer. The “Non-refundable” portion and the amount is at the discretion of the dealer.
