  1. Status Symbol Complex

I hope theres some sort of real news about the new Bronco soon, this forum has devolved into a bunch of meaningless threads and posts. Jeez folks come on, that's what other social media is for, not this forum. We need some much more active admin.'s on this forum to delete a bunch of threads and...
  2. Ford Says Bronco Warthog ("Whatever is in that photo") is not for 2021 model year

I think everyone needs to chill out on criticizing Mr. Levine. Don't know the man, never had any communication with him, but all the Bronco information/ incorrect information is due to Ford overall, not one dude. I'm sure Mr. Levine has Ford's approval to send out tidbits, otherwise he'd be put...
  3. 6th Gen Bronco to Succeed where the Hummer h3 Failed.

I think it was mostly because Hummer had terrible PR. I remember talking to people back then who knew not much about vehicles, being very negative on any Hummer, due to a perception of them being gas guzzlers, anti-environmental, etc. Even though I think the H2 got about the same mileage as most...
  4. Why go 4-door unless you have to?

I personally think think the 4 door looks better. The 2 door will be better in some off road situations, but I expect it to be much less stable on road, especially at higher highway speeds. The 4 door will be much better on road trips.
  5. Question regarding rear flip up glass.

Ha! That JK picture could have been me, except wrong color jeep. Yeah, sort of looks like a doofus, but it gets the job done. Never had any issues with the rear glass.
  6. Question regarding rear flip up glass.

FWIW, I hauled lots of lumber in my former JK, and drove plenty of miles with the rear glass sitting open, didn't seem to hurt a thing. No, not the ideal thing to do, but didn't have any problems.
  7. 2021 Bronco size compared to 2011 Defender 110

Is it possible the Defender length doesn't include the spare, and the Bronco length does include the spare, meaning the overall lengths are closer than we otherwise would think? Same thing with the width; is it possible the Defender width doesn't include the fender flares, and the Bronco width...
  8. What are you cross-shopping the Bronco against?

I'm not going to be one of the early Bronco owners. I'm waiting to see what upgrades do to the 2.7l, and improvements for towing like sway bars or air shocks or whatever, and how well the 4 door tows, from owner reviews. I'm considering a lot of other vehicles that have better tow ratings.
  9. New Ford bronco at bronco super fest west

Great photos. The black 2 door looks pretty dam_ good. I personally need the 4 door, I could see something just like that except the 4 door. I like the grill; looks dark gray, looks good with the black imho.
  10. Pre-Preproduction tester 4 Door Bronco Interior and Underhood Pics

How many times do people have to say "pre-production"?
  11. Do we know whats under the 4 door load floor hatch?

Thanks Zack. Hopefully the 4 door has a little more storage area than that.
  12. Do we know whats under the 4 door load floor hatch?

I've been wondering this also, I haven't seen any photos of the bin open, but if its anything like the JK or JL, unfortunately its probably not very deep.
  13. Subjective red flags I see... now that I've had some time to let the hype settle in...

I think the new Bronco is supposed to be sort a specialty vehicle; for those who are adventurous, into participating in sports, hiking, etc., or those that want to appear to be that sort of person. It's supposed to be smaller, more maneuverable. For towing a trailer, family road trips, or going...
  14. Jeep releases 100k SUV.

That thing looks horrible, I don't know what they were thinking. I thought I might be interested in it, really a disappointment.
  15. 4-Door Too Small?

  16. 4-Door Too Small?

Isn't Jeep going to announce a new larger SUV? Grand Wagoner or something? Maybe that would work.
  17. Best Tire Set up for Snow

In before the guys saying you've got to have dedicated snow tires to drive in the snow. (No you don't.)
  18. TFL's Feelings About Bronco Because No Party Invite?

The TFL guys are pretty good. They're one of the very few that actually attempt to drive a vehicle up an off road hill, so you can see how it does. They also run vehicles over a high altitude road for a towing test; you can compare vehicle to vehicle. Most vehicle "reviewers" just drive the...
