Could add a hose to the end of that and plug it into the drain hole.
That would be much cleaner than the astronaut diaper thing on cross-country trips...
I dreamed about buying a crate jeep (for 50 bucks!!!) when I was a kid in the 80s. That was the first vehicle I ever wanted. You could still find that ad in the back of some magazines even then. I've always wondered if any of those were really available and not just a scam. ?
As you look at various travel trailers, what you are looking for is the Maximum Trailer Capacity or Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR). As long as that is 3500 lbs or less, you will be fine.
The Dry Weight or Base Weight of the trailer is what the trailer weighs when it is empty or unloaded...
I am more excited about the First Edition today than I have been since the reveal. :D
Looking at Ford trim comparison site (updated last week?)
and the comparison sheet put together by TUNGSTANG
My biggest hang-ups since the reveal have been the idea that the FE had carpet and that a blue...
A quick google shows there is a converter that will allow you to add your own amps and speakers to the Bang and Olufsen system (that has their custom A²B® audio bus) while still using the existing head unit:
https://navtv.com/products/NTV-KIT873/zen-a2b.html
it is $549 on Amazon
Even if a trim only comes with carpet, it will eventually be possible to order the rubber floor from the parts department or maybe a repair shop.
The only question then will be how hard is it to disassemble the interior to do the replacement yourself.
Or how many work hours are required to pay...
How hard will it be to replace the carpet with rubber floors?
It doesn't look like the seats fold flat and might be uncomfortable to the rear passengers when leaned back.
But, it looks like the seats should be easy to remove with this design...
My brother did that with my dad's F150 back in the day. The first tow truck got itself stuck while trying to pull the F150 out. They ended up bringing in one of those big rig tow trucks to pull both of them out. Dad was not happy :)
@North7 did an great comparison of the possible discounts:

Well, turns out Ford got their stress test already:

And now that they have the data, they have turned that part of the site off...
Ford is storing our info and the reservation number in a database somewhere.
More than likely there is also an incremental counter field in the table and an inserted date/time field.
So whatever meaning they are assigning to the reservation code itself does not have to relate to the counter or...
Do we have a definite answer yet on if we will be able to switch to a lower trim from FE when we place our actual orders in December?
To me, getting Velocity or Antimatter Blue and the rubber floors is more important than having the FE with a color I don't want.
Why are they limiting the color...
Yes! I really like the Velocity Blue.
I wasn't crazy about the anti-matter blue either, but one of the videos showed it and it looked great. With the light grey top and grill, I think it would look even better.
Choices choices...
FYI, there is no blue on the FE, just red, area 51, cactus, and...
I reserved the First Edition, but will be backing down to the Badlands.
I want the Lux and Sasquatch packages, the 2.7L engine, and a hard top (probably the light grey top and front grill).
Really my only concerns are with the color choice (gotta have Blue!!), the carpeted floor (need the...
Mine is just over 3000 more than yours. Also for a First Edition 4 door.
As I was refreshing and waiting for pages to eventually load during the first couple of minutes, it flashed up that there were only going to be 3500 total First Editions... so if we are both in the 10 millions, I am not...
