  1. MIC Noise Reduction Guide - wind sound- aka more (or less) cowbell please

I appreciate your professional opinion. I do understand the front channel, and have considered removing it. The gap on the front sides do not obstruct the drain hole- I was intentional about leaving them open and simply making the space slightly more insulated. The roof side/channel where I...

You live in a beautiful part of the country... and agreed I want to hear and feel what the car is meant to be. For the record, I do enjoy classical music-- but mostly of the classic 80's hairband station in SiriusXM style. I want to hear the Van Halen guitar solos.
  3. MIC Noise Reduction Guide - wind sound- aka more (or less) cowbell please

Agreed- and I didn't really expect or intend for it to be as insulated as the luxury brands... I think there are differing opinions (which I accept and embrace!)... the highway wind gusts were what got me- and then I'd look over and see a gentle sway on a branch realizing it's not really that windy!

I think you're asking if you remove the front hard top panels and replace it with the soft top sunrider... will be be nosier than will the full hard top? I would assume yes... as you are now swapping hard for soft. I'm not sure silence is the goal, though, of having a soft top option... right?

If you could swing by NC on one of your road trips, we never found a South Dakota plate during our summer travels playing the license plate game... multiple Hawaii and Alaska... no SD.

  8. MIC Noise Reduction Guide - wind sound- aka more (or less) cowbell please

While living in the great outdoors sounds fun, and we briefly tried it once… we live in low-lying, twisty North Carolina. The amazing thing is it all sounds better now!

  11. MIC Noise Reduction Guide - wind sound- aka more (or less) cowbell please

I took it through a car wash today with no issues. Maybe I’m missing something about where/how it drains?
  12. MIC Noise Reduction Guide - wind sound- aka more (or less) cowbell please

Agreed- thought about this a bit, and it's possible. The #2 foam is specifically not covering the drain hole in that area. The top, though, could be an issue- I guess we'll see. The good news (as I reminded my wife) is that all of this is easy to remove if any issues present themselves.
  13. MIC Noise Reduction Guide - wind sound- aka more (or less) cowbell please

Here are a few- not sure if this all of them, though. 14. MIC Noise Reduction Guide - wind sound- aka more (or less) cowbell please

So, we know these are Built Wild... but my wife didn't appreciate it sounding like a hurricane everyday. Who wouldn't want to hear the subtle guitar, bass, drums and notes of your favorite music on the sound system for which you paid? After reading 4+ threads and looking at various modifications...
  15. New Windshield Adhesion Recall 22C12 announced for 2022 Broncos

Has anyone noticed odd patterns on their windshield- almost like when it gets fogged from heating/cooling? I notice leopard like spots on my windshield frequently, and most apparent in bright sunlight.
  16. Can you buy an OEM Soft Top?

I have the MIC on my 4 door Wildtrak Sasquatch. I thought it would be nice in the summer to store the hard top and put on a soft top for easy rain/element protection if needed. Then, in the winter go back to using the hard top and store the soft top. It appears the only soft top is the Bestop...
