Wow this is very well done. I just got done with a similar instal. Is there any benefits to using a lc7i for to provide low level outputs. I just used high level outputs straight to my amp/DSP and skipped the loc all together. Also do you find that you’re missing any mid level range having a mid...
It’s a great sub, and it hits hard. Way more musical than the kicker. It won’t shake the block though, and I think I’m looking for something that can do that every now and then. I’ll definately let you know when I upgrade. I need a little break from upgrading the audio in my car though so it’ll...
I probably could use a dremel and open it up enough too, but I opted for the geashade 8 inch enclosure. Still had to expand the hole but wasn’t much and was prettty easy
Oh ok . Everytime I try and upload it to a printer it says the models are too small. Is there something I have to change. Every single one of the public dash adapters is too small apparently
What part are you struggling with? I believe the 8 would be good for most people. It provides great response and the musway mws822 is a very musical sub. I am struggling with rattling in that sub area though. I might upgrade to the 12 inch tw3 from jl and a tailgate mount. I kinda want the...
It’s pretty damn good but it is a significantly more involved install. I have audio frog gs42 in dash, gb60 in the kicks, and gs60 in the rears. Im running them all active and bought the gearshade 8 inch sub enclosure to put in a musway mws822 sub. It sounds amazing but it took a ton of work to...
The kicker key is pretty good for aftermarket speakers. I have a plug n play one for sale, but I ended up going even bigger. Ended up adding a musway 6 channel DSP as well as a separate 600 watt amp for a sub.
Yea but what I’m wondering is if your aren’t getting the full range from the speakers for high level input, how does that effect the signal range from DSP as far as summing goes
You wouldn’t happen to still have the stl files you used to 3d print these adapter would you? Like the one you used for the gs42 and the one for the 3 way as well. I’m looking to kinda do the same as you and currently have the 42’s
I am selling an oem bronco enclosure for base sound system.
Kicker 6.75 sub 2 ohm or 4 (I have both), with ford fusion amp $180 obo
kicker key 200.4 channel amp with plug n play adapter, and lc2i pro for loc expansion to add subs 400 obo
kicker ks 6.5 speakers,$75 obo
kicker csc4 inch...
Do you get good noticeable sound/mid bass from the gs42’s in the rear. I currently have gs42’s in the dash but I’m thinking about doing a tweeter setup with gs10’s instead and throwing the gs42’s back there
