Same opinions as you after installing it. Initially, the shifts were much better, but now that it’s been on there a while, I almost feel like they reverted to the clunky and jumpy shifting. I think maybe I should unhook my battery for a while and make it re-learn it all.
Same here. I had posted for a while trying to keep up with any news or rumors but I’ve given up. Hell they can’t even get the bronco software itself to update consistently. Another example of the current state of affairs. Failure is accepted if not celebrated. And the only passion a post...
Horrible. As I climbed under the bronco to change out my skid plates I see a bolt half way backed out from the last service at the Dealer. Trust no one. Sad the level of care for the work being done now by folks.
There is one of those cheap connectors right at the end of the cable going to the actual bronco. I pulled it out loose and it gave enough room to reach the harness coming from the bronco. It doesn’t flip free once pulled loose but it does give a bit more room to get it plugged in.
That’s what I was thinking to try. Just trying to make it as hard to notice as possible. I’m thinking in the end it’s gonna be hit with some road debris over time so just want to hide the major stuff and protect it.
2.7 auto. Did the ford Performance tune. That seemed to help with shifting initially. Now it feels like it does have the first gear hesitation/bobble and other gears can be slightly rough unless you give it a lot of throttle then it all smooths out.
Nope. Dealer said it wasn’t a hold amount. It was the cost of them holding reservation. They ripped me off the 100 and the price protection from 2021 to 22 order conversion. Scum bag dealers. Ford is no help they just say it’s a dealer issue. @Ford Motor Company
