DIY crossbar for making the front 2 hardtop panels more secure without the clamshell.
I shared my project on another post and got some requests for more on how I made it. Please excuse my many poorly executed attempts at metalworking. I’m no fabricator. My mission was to use the tools...
Good idea to do a post on this. The total length is 49" exactly. Those rubber bumpers are already attached to the panels (see below). They're asymmetrical on the back side and work well if you let the longer part sort of drape over the back corner of the 1" tube when latched.
I’m no engineer/welder. My goal was to use the tools I already had in my garage, and simple bolt together supplies from Home Depot. The main tube is 1” punched squared joined with 1.25” tube using bolts, nuts, and washers. The 1.25” tube was strictly used to add length and I had to cut it...
any feedback after a few months? Is the aluminum much heavier than the OEM knob? I too wish they had a stainless option with the V2. Might wait and see what the Archetype Racing knobs end up like. Thanks in advance!
I have Ultimate9 (throttle controller) installed on my Badlands-manual transmission. Don’t have sport mode and don’t want to buy a windows computer for forscan option…anyways, the throttle controller in “adapt mode” (supposedly adjusts response based on how hard I press the pedal) gets me what I...
My experience has been laughable…bought tube doors at the beginning of June and returned them through the dealer 3 days later due to quality issues. 12 weeks later and still no refund. I call at least three times a week and get the same answer, “sorry for the delay, no update, we’ve escalated...
It showed up at the dealer just a couple days after final rail destination. They called to say it was on the way and I could pick up in a couple of hours.
Great overall experience. I got a quote a couple weeks before in hopes to avoid surprises. I made sure to bring up the private offer (get...
Took delivery today! Exactly 895 days from my reservation. It doesn’t feel real yet. I’m looking forward to seeing more delivery posts from y’all.
I've been using the info from this thread https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/here-are-the-bronco-build-tracking-links.22795/
According to the OP you can use this link https://palsapp.com , but when I click it I see a login page. You may need to get more info from your dealer on how to use...
I just got my tear tag today, but my bronco was shipped 2 days ago (according to the tracker link). So, you could be further along than you think.
I called the railcar 1800# and the automated machine says it's in Walbridge, OH. Slow and steady lol.
According to Ford chat:
"the status of your Bronco is In Transit, Shipped Rail - Railcar # TTGX979371 (Csx Transportation ). Your estimated time of arrival is Feb-23-2023 at this time."
I’m convinced there’s no rhyme or reason with the way things update, but if there is, you’ll probably see something tomorrow. Do they show updates on the weekend?
