In addition to the order date change and this priority order thing, forcing FE reservation holders into a MIC top with no option to wait for the MOD top is a significant change from the initial communication.
Upsetting things are upsetting.
Ford needs to just stop.
All they need to do is get the scheduling taken care of, but they CONTINUE to keep screwing things up and changing things from their initial communication to their loyal reservation holders.
Will ALL priority orders be built first (across all dealerships)?
Or will it just bump someone to the front of the line at their dealership?
For example, could a non-priority order at one dealership get their Bronco before a priority order from another dealership?
With literally thousands of “Priority” builds bypassing the time stamp system and being forced to the front of the line ahead of early reservation holders, how much will this cut into the supply of parts for those initial earlier reservations?
Not sure of the legality on Fords part for that, but that would add that extra bit of special tot he launch with a nod to the classics.
Also, the thought of going to pick up my brand new “MY21” Bronco while brand new MY22’s from other manufacturers are out is kinda weird. MY21 1/2 would just be...
It wouldn’t delay the production or release.
It helps their loyal customers with vehicle depreciation since MY22s will be out very soon after the MY21s.
It resolves the top issue for First Edition orders that were forced to downgrade to the MIC top since Ford did that to make sure First...

Yeah, I’m sure people would understand (if not PREFER) if Ford just did that.
There was a nasty global crisis. We get it, having the launch MY number end in a 2 instead of a 1 is fine.
That would be the biggest solid they could do for all the loyal reservation holders.
So as people buying brand new MY22 vehicles from other manufacturers drive their brand new MY22 vehicles off the lots, loyal Bronco reservation holders aren’t still waiting to pick up and drive their MY21s off...
With Ford’s (much appreciated) new communication, those who want the MOD top are gonna have to wait till MY22. Those who want it sooner will have o sacrifice the top they want.
First Edition orders now have the MIC top with no option for the MOD top.
So with that, how many are keeping the MOD...
Might be able to use some sort of rack over only the rear cap and mount the middle panel on top of it. Aerodynamics are already out the window when the rear cap is on either way.
They told me to contact them and let them know what specs I want so they can make he changes.
But I’m only buying one Bronco, so what would be the proper way to handle this second reservation?
Say someone wants every option listed as constrained (but not late availability or MY22).
What's a good time cutoff estimate on the first night for reservations that would be safe to assume the reservation holder will not be affected by any commodity constraints?
