This too, the MB 166 ML/GL has a “service position” that you put it into with steering wheel buttons and the cluster, then it’s business as usual. Ford may be similar? Idk.

Thats about it, unless the bearings/hub are integrated into the disc, which on the Bronco it doesn’t appear that way. I typically use a long flathead screwdriver and pry between the backing plate on the pad and rotor.

Car and Driver, Bronco Nation, and RoadShow have videos explaining how to disassemble and reassemble a vehicle. I assume that each had Ford reps teach them how to disassemble. I think it’s amazing that, in 2021, we have a manufacture that is encouraging the owner to work on their own vehicle.

I’ve gone back and forth on options too. Ended up ordering a Base 4 door Sasquatch, with 2.3L. I’m still building other variants, but they lack some of my main objectives with this vehicle—simple, capable, affordable. Way I see it, if you can get the model that has all of the “core” features...
