  1. Homelink programming issue with my 2023 Bronco Outer a ks

If I recall correctly, I only needed the remote to initiate pushing the Bronco’s button. To be sure of it working, the ignition needs to be on to accomplish the process. It won’t work if it’s off.
  2. Anyone know what all the Wiper settings are supposed to do?

I would recommend that you read your owners manual, not only to learn about how your wipers work, but to learn about other functions of your vehicle.
  3. Going to The Moab Off-Rodeo on Monday, March 18 and Looking for Ideas

The primary rental car firms have exclusions for being able to take a Jeep off road…..with GPS location technology, we decided not to do it when we rented a JeepWrangler Sport (stock street tires) in SLC for our trip to Moab. Moab does have Jeep rentals with no such restrictions. For a 1 week...
  4. Ford A Plan friendly dealers

X plan was originally available for the Bronco, but only for a very short time. The dealer I used for ordering and purchasing my 2021 Bronco had a short window of commitment as they posted an expiration date of X Plan acceptance. We took delivery of our Bronco 14 months later and the dealer did...
  5. Original 1966 Ford Bronco

You forgot to add all the parts and pieces from Falcons, Mustangs, and F-100s that were used to mfg the Bronco…..an ingenious puzzle IMO.
  6. Looking for kill switch. Two Ram TRX's stolen in my neighborhood in the last week!

The one posting is my daughter and her fiancé’s TRX and Range Rover. The only issue with the RR are SOS and Air Bag lights that were illuminated upon pickup. Otherwise, it drove fine from Chula Vista back to the Torrance area. I have yet to hear from my daughter on the cause of those dash lights...
  7. 2.7 Engine failure, Stranded for Christmas

I have a 2021 2.7 that was manufactured during the known trouble period. It now has 18,000+ miles and has shown no troubles. As I understand, the engine issue manifests itself early in its operating span, so I feel fortunate. As protection, I do have an 8 year/100,000 mi extended warranty in place.
  8. Why do Bronco owners drive so slow?

Your assumption of vehicle speed in Calif is totally inaccurate. I drive from Central Calif to So Cal every 1 or 2 months on CA 99/I5/I405 and the average speed on I5 over the Grapevine and in the Central Valley is 80-85mph. I have my cruise set at 72-75 and am constantly passed as if I’m the...
  9. Well...that didn't take long (cracked windshield)

I am on my 3rd windshield after almost 2 years. Lost bothe OEM windshields this past summer within 2 months of each other. As an experiment to glass quality, My latest replacement is an aftermarket windshield made from a large national auto glass mfg through a Safelite authorized glass shop...
  10. Warranty Luck with Goodyear/Ford??

Sorry you are having issues. Road hazards are not covered under any normal tire purchase warranty unless purchased as an add-on from the tire dealer or included in the purchase, such as from Costco. The Bronco windshield breakage complaints are no different than tire punctures.
  11. Diminished Value (accident today)

Not all collision centers report to CarFax. A few years ago my dad did $17,000 of damage to his 1 yr old Honda Accord. The body shop never reported the damage. On my current 2021 Ford Bronco, the local dealer that has provided servicing and recalls also does not report to CarFax. The only item...
  12. SCCA RallyCross?

The big reason you should not consider this is that all automobile insurance policies carry a racing exclusion thus eliminating any and all coverage for the vehicle should an accident occur while rallying (or practicing).
  13. The new 50th anniversary Bronco Ranger Edition.

This IMO, is the truest Heritage Edition that could have been produced though it represents the latest years of the 1st gen. Well done!!!!
  14. Tailgate Molle?

I included the molle panel when I bought my Bronco in 12/2021. I use it for accessory storage such as a Halo jump starter, first aid kit, tire pressure gauge, etc. it does not rattle when driving. I did add 3m extra strength double sided tape to eliminate the gaps as installation points are...
  15. "Your access to Connected Navigation has expired"

I have to say that the Bronco nav system works quite well and does a good job with voice commands, unlike my Honda Pilot whose Nav system is woeful in comparison. The only issue I now have is that one of the recent system updates removed the ability to maintain the North up position when...
  16. New owner questions for used Bronco

In addition to no lockers, no SAS suspension, no beefier front diff, you have 3.73 gearing
  17. Bronco - 1, Tacoma - 0... Got rear ended!

You should also have Waiver of Collision Defuctible Coverage, a part of the Uninsured Motorist Coverage. Using your insurance is the best solution, but the time it will take to repair your Bronco will likely exceed the 30 Day Rental Reimbursement Coverage if you have that option. There is no...
  18. 2024 Bronco Build and Price Now Live

The 4A (Advanced 4 wheel drive) has always been an option ($795). In Calif it also includes the 4.27 gearing. I included this on my 2021 OBX build. I did notice that this option has been removed for 2024 (except 4.27 gearing) as I wanted to know the current price of my build (up almost 4,000)...
  19. Will I regret not upgrading any of my build? (specifically Sasquatch)

I’d recommend you add the 4.27 gearing if you intend to go to bigger tires. I added this gearing to my OBX and w/32 in tires I’m gettin 22 mpg on the freeway at 75 mph. 2100 RPM at 70mph and I’m very happy.
