  1. 4x4 Class 101 (Saving Broncos from Permanent Mall Crawler Duty)

You will receive different opinions, but what I have been taught by more than one of my off road peers, is that you use 4L for almost everything off-road. It is far easier on the drivetrain in almost very scenario. There are occasions where 4H makes sense, like higher speed running on two...

We did a run last night in and around Oscoda. It was absolutely perfect outside! The exhaust notes on the first two Broncos are worth the video I think.

The trail sight mounts are pretty popular. Jeff’s Bronco Graveyard among others sells them. I use mine for my GMRS antenna and use a pice of aluminum flat bar and the bolts on the bumper for my flag.
  5. Michigan Roll Call

Well, they are coming in fairly quickly, depending on the options. The group is pretty big now, over 360 people on this forum, 2200 members on Facebook and a couple hundred registered on the club forum. Welcome back!

  8. 3.73 vs 4.46 Gearing on 37s

It’s not just the gearing, which would be ridiculous on 37s. Your giving up the 210 axle as well. The 190 will live for a while with a light foot, but is going to require more maintenance and repair over time.

Just my two cents, Drummond is pretty cool tot check out, even if you don’t hit the trails. The ferry ride, awesome views and hiking trails are pretty cool. Agree with Jake, Drummond can get pretty hairy, pretty fast if your not prepared. Definitely join us on a club ride and we can help you get...

There will be a bunch of "newbies". My son is taking his FX4 Ranger for the first time! My suggestion, get to the park a bit early, hang out and find others looking to do some of the moderate stuff. We will have people at different features spotting at various times, so keep your FRS/GMRS...
  13. 1st Annual Bronco The Mac Event (Michigan) featuring police-escorted drive, parade and trail rides

I wish I made the DI ride, I will be there with the club again Sept. 15-17.
  14. 1st Annual Bronco The Mac Event (Michigan) featuring police-escorted drive, parade and trail rides

I thought the event was great. We are working with the St Ignace visitors bureau to make day 2 a Drummond Island day, similar to Jeep the Mac. 2024 should be even better!

I think I posted this, but B6g isn't easy to look backwards in the Clubs pages. We are having an fun event with Ford Performance at Holly Oaks Saturday, June 17th. There will be a bunch of Ford Performance team members, some Raptors (Bronco, Ranger, F150R and maybe more.....). We are getting...

Taking your vehicle off road accelerates wear and requires some extra care and maintenance. Definitely be ready to spray everything down and rinse off as much of the sand as possible. It’s even worthwhile to pull your wheels and skid plates on occasion and get everything rinsed off. These day...

I definitely agree on the tie rods. No issues on the dunes. Most that are breaking are in rocks with 37s or larger. I have been with 100s of Broncos off road for probably thousands of miles now with no issues. The most common problem is running high speed through water and mud and taking out an...

What VB said above. We had stock Big Bends make test hill and the entire area, think 10/12 lbs and take it easy on cresting hills and steep declines.
