I don't consider it shady. I had sent a reply e-mail with my specs. They replied they did not have information about the soft top but when it was available they would send me the info. When I contacted them about the order placement I was assured it could be changed up until the order window closed.
Well, well, well, got this email from Ford today. Looks like Chapman went ahead and placed my order. Glad I sent an email with codes last week with what I wanted. I had a question about full twill vs vinyl soft top but they placed it with the hard top. I going to let it be and go aftermarket...
Taking the plunge next week, I have the day off Wednesday and headed up to Chapman. I'm making a few changes to hopefully get it sooner. 2 door Cactus Gray BD. Going from 2.7 to the 2.3, getting the full Twill soft top. Only 1 of the deadly 5 now on my build, the Auto. 🤞
Having a little fun with a Jeep buddy, he has a really nice Rubicon....I make a hot spice mix I hooked him up with for his beef jerky. He asked if I could make some more for him. I had to rebrand it....🤣
My old man has a single pulley lift for Mom's Miata hard top. Sway isn't really an issue It's not as heavy as the Bronc's but I'd estimate it at 45-50lbs.
Nice, also a side note if you guys didn't see it. The speaker sizes are 4" in the dash and the pods and 6 1/2" in the kick panels. I have my eye on Focal ICU 100's for the dash and pods and Focal ICU 165 in the kickers.
I got one of the "Sorry for the comedy of errors, here's some cheap swag" mailing from Ford. Anybody else? The poster is kinda nice, card stock I think and the sticker is cool. Just wondering....
I have that on my current Subaru Crosstrek xv. Just great peace of mind when folding down the rears that nothing will be stained/damaged loading crap in.
