I may have been a couple of months late to the party (10/2 reservation), but I made up for it by ordering *ALL* the constraints! :ROFLMAO: If I get mine before more than a handful of you guys, then you may want to start an investigation to find out who I paid off.
Well, in case anyone near RTP is looking for an overpriced Black Diamond, University Ford has you covered. LOL That's a hard no for me, but if you want to spend 65k on it, here's what they have for sale...
Yep, talked with John a little earlier today. I was 212 on the most recent spreadsheet. As expected, he was awesome and very clear and followed up immediately with a confirmation email showing exact pricing.
Thanks for posting the list, John. I'm way down there at 238. Still mad at myself for not diving into the reservation pool earlier. And I'll be one of those not budging from the MIC top and tow package. LOL.
@StephensAutoCenter can you remind me (and others) the total number of reservations you have? I'm something of a late res (10/2), and I'm wondering about where I fall in line, so it'd be kinda fun to know reservations still pending by month. I know you're swamped right now, and if you don't want...
Good to see a relatively positive take on that; I've been concerned for you guys. It seems almost like Ford is trying to punish dealers that offered a really good deal on the Bronco. Thank you for the update. Here's hoping it works out well for everyone.
The issue in my case is that the original OBX res was converted to a deferred OBX order despite the fact I had notified John that I wanted mine to be a BL. His response was that due to the volume, they were simply entering all as they originally were, and we'd be able to change it when the new...
I'm not thrilled with that price protection approach. For example, my original reservation was for an OBX. I had communicated that I wanted to change to a Badlands, but I was told that all reservations being put in as MY22 orders would be put in based on the original reservation. That wasn't my...
I've driven Broncos with the high package and the lux package.
The sound in the high package truly sucks. It's tinny and thin. If you get the high package or lower, I'd anticipate spending significant money for an immediate upgrade.
The sound in the lux package was not great, but it was...
Just came across the this thread today. Prayers for you and your wife, my friend. I hope the report back from the doctor today was positive.
And, as others have said, that's a very cool story. I hope it all works out and your wife loves the Bronco as much as you have loved trying to do this for...
@StephensAutoCenter , any insight yet into how you guys are handling the Raptor? I'm guessing it'll be a different ordering system and that existing orders can't convert to a Raptor, but I'd love to be wrong about that. Wondering if it is supposed to be a MY22 or 23. Curious about how you will...
Interesting experience with the 4xe, @skhubbard93 . I guess either I got lucky with the one I tried or you got unlucky with the one you tried. Either way, thanks for detailing your experience and impressions with both of them. I'm looking forward to the 2.7L.
Yeah, I've seen that and agree the 4xe hybrid setup is not really useful for off-road. It's the power and convenience for local daily driving that I like about the 4xe. I'm really curious to see what hybrid options the Bronco eventually has.
I've driven Broncos with the standard system (High package) and the B&O system (Lux package). The standard system is really bad. I mean, really, really bad. The B&O system is livable, although I'd like more oomph from the back. But the front was FAR more clear.
We plan to do some road trips...
