  1. Project “Terminator Bronco” overland build

And the weekend brought us this update. Valykrie Off-road full length Modular roof rack. I'll do a full review once I've had some time with it and get my tent and awning mounted. It looks really good so far. Had some challenges with the delivery and finish of some of the kit. But like most...
  2. Rattlesnake Canyon - Bronco Trail Meetup & Report

That looked like a great turn out. How do we get involved in future meet-ups?
  3. [SOLVED] Getting Mini Deathwobble at speed

I'm not following. I thought you meant you had the beadlock rings done after the wheels were mounted and balanced in the traditional manner. The Beadlock ring and more importantly because of the extra bolts that get added to the outer rim, will most certainly need to be rebalanced. That outer...
  4. [SOLVED] Getting Mini Deathwobble at speed

You installed beadlocks? And no after mounting rebalance?
  5. Bronco 2.7L Gas Mileage tracked -- a 10,000 mile detailed report

I doubt that it's the intake. I average 18 mpg since ownership and 18.2 since the first oil change at 2K miles. I have 4K on it now and have a 4 door BadSquatch with hardtop and 2.7L. And I've taken her off the grid a few times mostly in Baja but also some steep hills in rock crawl mode.
  6. [SOLVED] Getting Mini Deathwobble at speed

Sounds like you have an issue for sure. Curious if it exhibited the problem before you modded the suspension? Are you running aftermarket tires too?
  7. [SOLVED] Getting Mini Deathwobble at speed

That doesn't really show turbo issues. That's more likely just a slightly inaccurate sensor or a dwell setting that isn't adjusted to be less sensitive.
  8. [SOLVED] Getting Mini Deathwobble at speed

I had the same issue with my Ridge Grapplers. No luck getting a warranty on it though so I sold them.
  9. [SOLVED] Getting Mini Deathwobble at speed

Likely it's the 37" tire/balance related. Plus I wonder about using a 3" spacer lift without recorrecting the suspension geometry? Alignment won't fix your CV angles being so high.
  10. Hardtop sound deadening mod using Kilmat

The Kilmat does have a top aluminum layer that is essentially supposed to be a thermal barrier. Roofing material I would guess is likely more fragrant than I could handle personally. But I haven't really tried and honestly if the price of one package of Kilmat is too much for the budget than I...
  11. LOD OFFROAD! Destroyer Tire Carrier

Beautiful. This might need to be my next mod. Curious. What kind of accessories would you guys have in mind? I'm expecting that by freeing up that weight off the rear door hinges all sorts of goodies could get added for us overlanders.
  12. LOD OFFROAD! Destroyer Tire Carrier

nice! Will it articulate the tire carrier with the opening of the rear door? Or is the tire carrier independently opened?
  13. California F/S like new Badlands Sasquatch factory rims (5) $800

Sorry they sold and shipped already.
  14. Weight of Stock Wheel and Tires?

Sasquatch wheel is 36.5 lbs. I just shipped five of them to Alaska.
  15. Project “Terminator Bronco” overland build

New wheels installed. These are about 8 lbs lighter per wheel as compared to the stock Sasquatch deadlock capable wheels. They are Method 703 with the BeadGrip tech. A bit cleaner of a look and hopefully easier to keep clean too.

  17. Let's see your roof-top Tents and camping setups!

Agreed it doesn't look was stout as some of the competitors out there. But I feel with the amount of cross beams they supply it will actually be pretty rigid. We shall see. My big concern about some of the other kits was the weight of them. The Bronco hardtop is pretty light weight and I...
  18. Let's see your roof-top Tents and camping setups!

My Valkyrie roof rack just arrived. Hoping to install that with my Ikamper Skycamp 2.0 this week.
  19. FIRST LOOK: Flush Style LED Tail Lights for the 2021+ Ford Bronco from ORACLE Lighting

Well that takes the wind out of my sails. I thought I had a perfect use for these with the LUX package and the Zone lighting. Do you have an ETA on that project?
  20. Hardtop sound deadening mod using Kilmat

I used an app on my cell phone today called NIOSH. it measures sound but isn't calibrated so your results may vary. The phone is mounted on my 67 designs phone holder that's hung on the Archetype Racing BYOD rail. It's just to the right of the steering wheel and level with the dash. Sitting...
