These type of transfers are trying for sure! They place all of the cars going on the route on a spur and wait for a particular train headed that way as part of a bigger run. Richmond handles mostly oil cars, so you will likely be on the back end of a UP route headed east with a bunch of empty...
I don't know about that.
The actual arrival for almost everyone is coming in before the ETA posted. If your dealer gets it on the 20th, your just might have it for Christmas!
Yes. In fact, for anyone ordering a new Bronco today, you should get a signed agreement from your dealer before you order it through them. You can build and reserve your Bronco first, print your reservation. Have the dealer sign your reservation, send an email or get handwritten note stating...
I don't think you are interpreting OVISS correctly. Your Bronco is still on your rail car in Memphis. It is leaving at 11am and bound for North Little Rock, ETA 12/15 21:30. It looks like you will hook up with another train from there. Your final ETA is 12/23 @ 23:59.
Sorry, not as good as...
There isn't a hauler transfer at Brazos. @Briosabronco's rail car lists Kirby Yard in San Antonio as the final destination. Yours is also Kirby Yard. I think @TxBadlands will get a train to Kirby later today, and Briosabronco some time tomorrow or Friday. This is just my best guess from what...
@Briosabronco Your rail car is reaching the Brazos yard in Hearne this afternoon. @TxBadlands has been stuck there for a day now. It seems that the last leg over to SA is taking long than it should.
UP has shaved several hours off of my ETA so far. Maybe it can truck on Friday?
I am thankful that my destination is all on one train at this point. I feel for the folks that have transfers at near the end and have zero visibility. I know the pain of having a rail car sitting for days. o_O
My Bronco lands on Friday morning at the rail yard. If there isn't any movement by Sunday, I will be making a visit to the United Road office on Monday morning with a big box of donuts.
I think @JAC has figured out how to track on BNSF.
Your know that feeling when your stop hitting your thumb with a hammer? Well, I can tell you, it feels REALLY GOOD!
:DI have a train all of the way to Benicia! Only 6 cars dropping off, so I hope the onload it quick. ETA 12/17 @11:00!
Nope. Just that United Road has the hauler contract from your rail yard to dealer.
Your rail car number is TTGX986289.
You should be able to track it on the CSX system.
I'm still just sitting in the yard with no train. Seems hopeless at the moment. Unless Elon Musk pops out of the ground with some super secret tunnel that shoots me there at warp speed.
