I had this issue since new.....the dealer that I purchased from replaced parts but it was never resolved. Tried a different dealer and they made adjustments and it has been fine for over a year now. I believe they told me they adjusted the tension.......all I know it now works properly!

that's weird!!! These tops are bulletproof! ok just kidding - it's a club that no-one wants to belong to I sure hope you have a hassle free warranty claim - members on here have had varying levels of success. Keep us posted on how your experience goes

I spoke with Ford dealer service today about other things and I brought this up. They said the fix was software....no idea if they knew what they were talking about but that is what the dealer is being told to do when the patch comes out later this spring.
