Thanks for the Monkey Bidness tip - just ordered the limiter and strut. I’ve blown off the plastic ends of the stock tailgate strut at least 1/2 a dozen times.
Such a random niche-y request, but I'll give it a shot.
Can you ask your R&D folks to take the mechanics of the Hard Top Lift and create / noodle on something similar that would lift and position doors for easier removal and installation?
It's just such an awkward lift / positioning effort -...

I've read that if you've done ANY mods on your rig (bigger tires / lift / etc) it's a really really good way to break stuff.

That was a symptom for me about 2-3 weeks before my battery went bad. You getting “entering battery saver mode” type alerts?
If/when you do, get it replaced.
