Not sure if it was the factory plug or my wiring of the pins (I got a good crimp on it, so subscribing to theory it was the factory plug), but the passenger side didnât light up. I didnât test but just cut off the factory plug, wired direct, and poof, they worked, so for me it wasnât a harness...
Yes, there was some light bare metal on a couple of the edges. What was weird is there is what appears to be scuffing (not to the metal) right above the top of the lightsâclose to where the 3 mounting holes are.
Yes. I essentially digested both this thread and the other spin-off thread (Updated:Fog lights added and connected to factory connector). I bought the pins to crimp and add to the factory plug, which worked nicely on one, but not the other, so I ended up cutting the factory connector off and...
Congrats fellow Twelve Sixers! So happy for all and nice to see this part of the journey completed/near completion. Thanks @helifino16 for keeping us all straight!
Since I switched out a white, I noted there were washers with the spacers. Same type of washers or thicker? I am sure it depends, but for reference, Badlands, nonsquatch, so I guess I am factory lifted.
Also, the yellows I ordered were missing 5 nuts. Not a big deal since I just used the nuts...
Thanks!
Wiring was pretty simple and straightforward. The factory harness with connector was there (I recall only high and Lux packages have it?) and I bought the pins to fit the factory connectors, but for whatever reason, one of my connections didnât work, so I cut and crimped those two...
Received yesterday and installed. Ordered the whites and a set of replacement yellows. Wired the whites to factory fog light switch and yellows to aux 5. I too had some bare metal in a couple areas. I got bright flashed twice last night (running whites), so either need to change angle or only...
Managed to get set of @ORACLE Lighting triple fogs with whites on factory fog switch and yellows on aux 5. Somehow I neglected to see the forscan change needed to get the dash icon. Will have fix that later.
We apparently knew they were being shipped without safety essential chips and estimated year to get them to the ownerâŠso we knew this but to have to accidentally come across the missing chip(s) vs. @Ford Motor Company shipping with a list of missing chips and notifying the owner? Par for the...
@Mabett I canât recall if your test vehicle has the rear power outlets in the center console, but for those of us with it, the version that sits on the floor (without blocking the raised Bronco badging from the Ford liners) rather than hanging from the top, will likely be the best option...
Yeah, he ainât doing you any favors. I am looking at my invoice now and yes the list is $147.60 but the dealer (really just a specific parts guy) matches internet prices. My total out the door was $93.58 ($87.46 before tax).
Edit: Just realized you are in Canada. Would be happy to help if I...
Looking forward to this too. I went with the alien tape and flat-backed case route, and the sun is melting the adhesive; it was ok about a month ago or when I park in the garage.
Thanks. Have Lux, so yes on the sensors, both front and rear.
Was really hoping the wiring would be similar by using the harness as in the front. It seems there are many who opted for the dual fog switch, so fingers crossed someone can clarify/confirm and if it is there, the steps they took to...
So happy to come across this threadâŠnow all I need are the lightsâtriple fogs on order from @ORACLE Lighting that are hopefully shipping soon!
I bought the dual fog front/rear JIC because I didnât see a definitive answer on the wiring for the rear.
Hoping someone can clarify by answering these...
